Tis place is nice just because you really camp in the bush. You must be prepared to share the ablution , hot water were supplied through a "donkey" which make it more interesting. The dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was good.

We used this as a stop over whilst crossing the Kalahari on a trip between Windhoek and Pretoria. Each campsite has its own ablution. The sites are reasonably spread out and ours had a beautiful large thorn tree. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful last stop before moving back into civilisation. The last campfire was very...

Despite booking two chalets in January through Booking.com and reconfirming directly with the resort two weeks before arrival, when we arrived at Kalahari Rest, we were informed by Eva in reception that our chalets had been allocated to other guests and no accommodation was available. Our first night in Botswana!! After remonstrating with the owner, we were allocated two "family"...

Although the pap & oxtail in the restaurant was delicious this was most propably one of the most disappointing stays during our 3 week Botswana trip. When you get allocated "meerkat" campsite be aware that you are expected to share ablution with your formal accommodation neighbours (not sure if they are aware of this...we opt to drive ti the bigger...

We initially planned to stay a night here and spent 3. The pitches are huge, with electricity and braai facilities on each. They are spaced out so noise is minimal. Facilities are nice, hot water and decent showers! The bar area overlooks a watering hole, the drinks are reasonably priced. We didn't eat there. The majority of the staff are...

We have stayed here numerous time, this time in the School Holidays for a stop overnight. The rooms are clean but really too dark, the water pressure is just non existant and the toilets always blocked. The owners must please address this. We went into dinner at 7 and although the staff is always friendly they were so jovial that...

This is perfect stop over if traveling from Gauteng to either Maun or Windhoek. 722 km from Pretoria. The camping facilities are great. Camp sites far from each other with power and water on each site. We have previously stayed in the rooms and had dinner at the end of our camping tour and was also memorable. Ablutions are clean...

Basic accommodation but perfect for a one night stop over. Food was good- curry lamb. Shower not so great as the water either trickles or sprays everywhere. Has a cosy bar where you can quench your thirst after a long day driving. We would stay there again if the need arises
