Helpful people, clean basic room, good view of garden and hen! Dinner was very basic, chicken came with chips and request for salad instead turned down. Good place to access Samaria Gorge and Gigolos mountain, owner runs minibus transfer to and from start of walks. Not much else to do in Omalos.

We arrived after a fantastic autumn mountain walk and were going to just pass through before we stopped for a snack here. After 10 minutes of food and water we knew we had to stay. The hotel is immaculately clean. The staff are charming and beyond helpful. The rooms are simple but effective. If you have a need that is... More

A very friendly welcome awaits anyone here. Rooms are clean and the beds comfortable so it would be churlish to complain of the hand held shower. At least there was lots of hot water. restaurant is what you might expect in a mountain village. All in all very good value.

Ending up at the Neos Omalos Hotel after finding our original accommodation firmly closed with no electricity, we were made most welcome by the Drakoulakis family. Having brought supplies anticipating a self-catering stay on the Omalos Plateau, we were worried about what to do with all our perishable goods but the family immediately offered us space in the hotel fridges... Place to stay and eat at! The owners are friendly, helpful and genuinely seem to care about their guests. I stayed three nights. The staff knows the surrounding area and are a wealth of info for planning. I stayed three nights

We stayed for 2 nights. This hotel situated in Omalos which is on the Omalos plateau in the White Mountains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had a narrow balcony. The bathroom was clean. The shower had a hand held shower head and was quite small but functional. We, as part of a Trekking... More

Nothing but great things to say about this place. Ideal location for planning a hike through Samaria Gorge. Quality hotel. Comfy rooms. Good food! And warm, friendly, and welcoming staff. Only trick is getting there, but you'll have a good time once you do!

This is a nice simple hotel at Omalos. We reached it after hiking the Samaria Gorge all day. We were so tired and were very happy to stay in this little hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable bed and a nice mountain view from the window. We also had dinner, one of the best in our week long trip. Only... More

Ok, the hotel is good for what you need before the gorge. It makes the morning of your hike easy. Is it fancy? No. But it's clean and though there's no AC, you don't need it bc it's so cool up there in the summer. Open your balcony and enjoy the cool air while you sleep. The food in the... More
