All in all, I had a great time. The owner, staff, everyone was especially charming. We stayed in the Naomi Farm Casita. Which is not really Totoco, but a ten minute walk away down the road. That means, there's no internet, no easy access to the pool, or the store, and the worst part is that there's no view. It's...

We stayed here for three nights in November 2016. The views and surroundings are jaw-dropping. The layout of the cabanas and main lodge is thoughtful and serene. All of the staff were warm, welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed without being invasive or pushy. It was the sort of relaxed luxury that...

This is a remote property on a pretty much undeveloped island, mainly frequented by backpackers. They take their Eco credentials very seriously right down to the compost toilets which are not as bad as one might imagine! The views are spectacular wherever you are and we particularly enjoyed relaxing in the hammock on our spacious terrace with volcano views. The...

The location of the eco lodge is beautiful with views of the volcano and surrounding countryside. The service was excellent, everyone friendly and helpful, especially Eric the bartender. The food was fresh and well prepared. What puts this lodge out of the 4 or 5 star category are the common areas and the pool. The pool especially was a disappointment....

We were fortunate enough to visit Totoco Eco-Lodge for a few days in Nov. On arrival we realized that this was going to be awesome! We were greeted by friendly, happy staff... We were given the freshest juice on arrival while someone was showing us around. Our bungalow was amazing and to top it off there was an incredible sunset...

We spent 2 nights at Totoco in Casa Istiana. The place is beautiful and the view on Volcano Concepcion is amazing. Staff was really nice and smiling which was great. Breakfast was really good. Now, ecotourism is all over but when you think this place has been built 10 years ago it is impressive. Overall a really nice experience and...

The most beautiful magical resort ever been to. Spacious rooms with astonishing views. The food was amazing and the staff very helpful. We highly recommend to stay here! Some remarks: Some things were a bit out dated like the pillows at the pool, the bamboo could use a cut,... but these are minor details. The horse trip wasn't worth it....

A spectacular property run by a fabulous staff. The bungalow was very comfortable and the dinning area was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views. We did a beautiful guided hike to the coffee Finca which we would definitely recommend. This hotel is a wonderful operation and we were very happy to support it!

Pros- Good view Great food Nice bar/ restaurant and chill area Friendly staff Cons- 30 minute walk up a steep hill to get to and from town Many bugs in the rooms Roof leaked onto the bedside table and wrecked my phone. Turned into an expensive stay.

Beautiful location with view of Concepcion. The food was excellent and cooked to order in most cases. The staff were attentive and helpful A bit remote down a rough road but that is part of the appeal.
