The bathroom was not good no hot water.no aircodition no service to the hotel the price it's to much for that room that's all so please think about if you want to stey in that hotel the good thing is only the view.

it depends on the dates, we did not do the booking and got on a train easily; there was a lot of free spaces left. You can also e-mail El Chepe - they will reply in like 2-3 days. Also you can buy a ticket on train station in city of your stay BUT the train station is out of the city - it takes like 15 mins by taxi to get there; If you arrive at night, you'll have to be lucky to catch one unfortunately.
