If you are looking for a great B & B in Cornwall look no further! A great welcome of tea and scones with clotted cream- en-suite rooms beautifuly equipped and a lounge to use in the evening. Not sure how long I'll have to spend on the treadmill to work off the irresistable breakfast!

It is difficult to find unused adjectives to describe the location, the accommodation, the breakfasts and the warm welcome at Downs Barn Farm. I suggest you don't waste too much time reading other reviews and just get on with making a booking, and if you get good weather as we did you really have hit the jackpot. Our weekend was...

Highly recommended accommodation in Cornwall. Fantastic hosts, tasty welcome scones and glorious breakfast! It's very clear that this is a well cared for establishment, clean and tidy. Even the dogs are welcoming! Lovely walk down to the local beach from the B&B and a wonderful meal at 7 Fore St in Mousehole. Super stay, will be back :))

A few other B&B's should come and see how Carolyn does things as this is a lovely B&B and the personal service superb. The rooms are lovely with modern bathrooms and lots of personal touches. We stayed in a lovely room in the oldest part of the house. The bed was comfortable and the bath, although small, was completely adequate with instant hot water and nice soap and shampoo provided. And the breakfast was delicious. If you chose the traditional English breakfast everything was farm fresh and well prepared. Or you could choose other options...

Downs Barn Farm remains the jewel in St Buryan's crown, offering the highest bed and breakfast standards throughout. Exceptionally kind and caring hosts and the softest, friendliest pooches, ever! There are two newly converted self catering units alongside the main farmhouse B&B but these did not detract from my indulgence of good old fashioned "being looked after," the only work...

A very helpful and attentive host for our stay at Downs Barn B&B. A quiet, picturesque location, ideally situated to visit all the tourist attractions in the west of Cornwall. The accommodation was first class together with the food, served in a relaxed atmosphere. There are pleasant walks to enjoy, including strolls down to the nearby sea. Carolyn has plenty...
