John was absolutely lovely and understanding that we arrived late due to horrendous traffic, room was very nice with en suite bathroom and very clean. The breakfast was very nice, even for me and my boyfriend who are vegans. The only thing I would say is that the sign on the entrance could be bigger as we couldn't see it...

If you require peaceful accommodation than this is it. A very old tired looking old vicarage with lovely surroundings. It has its own Patina as the antique dealers say which makes it rather attractive. Hosts first class. Good quality breakfast, very attentive and efficient. Room very large, spacious and clean. Tea coffee facility's provided in rooms. We had the disable...

We visited the Old Vicarage last summer while we were visiting Cornwall. The location is beautiful! If you are looking for a quiet place surrounded by the beautiful nature this is the place to go. The place is very friendly and the rooms are very spacious. The breakfast was very tasty and it was a good value. The only little...

My daughter and i stayed 3 nights at The Old Vicarage and were so impressed by the large, comfortable room (suite really), the location, the breakfast and, most of all the friendly hospitality provided by John and Rosie. We took advantage of the equestrian facilities and went riding. The stables and horses were really top class and our escort on...

The old vicarage is lovely, the rooms wonderful, the owners very nice. The breakfast was a full English breakfast and excellent. My mistake, but I was traveling by bus and train and didn't realize that the B&B was well off the beaten track. I managed to get there by bus, but the buses stop early and there is no Sunday...

Lovely location. Very spacious and comfortable family room. Excellent breakfast. Ideal location for seeing a lot of Cornwall. Very quiet and peaceful. The Crown Inn about half a mile away served excellent meals. Looking forward to another visit.

The rooms were musty. We enjoyed our weekend, but The Old Vicarage wasn't much more than a place to sleep. I had hoped for more. If we go back to West Cornwall, we'll probably look to stay more in one of the coastal towns rather than considering here again.

We are amazed to see the 4 star award dated 2014, and can only presume this wasn't awarded on the standard of our room and that the other rooms may be better. The standard of our accommodation was very poor, both in cleanliness and standard of furnishings There was a musty smell in the room, cables were hanging through the ceiling,...

We have recently visited the Old Vicarage and sadly we felt it did not offer good value for money due to the room accommodation . The owners were warm and welcoming, the breakfast was good quality. The location was lovely a small village with lovely wooded walks. Not far from Penzance, Marazion, St Michaels, Mount and St Ives only less...

The b&b is in a very peaceful location with large gardens and ample parking. The room was split level with a separate bathroom and dressing room. We were able to have our dog with us which was good. The owners have horses and riding is available. Breakfast was excellent and lots of it!
