We stayed here during a journey from South to North and are so pleased we did! Clarisse is so welcoming and helpful, and her home is exquisite and it was a pleasure to stay there. The room was immaculate and very well appointed, and the whole house is a pleasure to view. A wonderful restoration over many years but so...

This B&B was a great place to stay while exploring the Loire Valley. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with window views of the countryside. (There are no adjacent buildings, and the family's farmland is behind.) Clairisse is a wonderful host, who offered many suggestions on sites to visit throughout the region. She also had good recommendations for restaurants in...

This Chambre d'Hote, or B&B, is located in a wonderful rural setting, yet close to all that the Loire Valley has to offer. Your host, Clarisse Godefroy has an exceptional knowledge of the area and will help you plot your daily itinerary, while you partake in a delicious breakfast of breads and homemade jams. She has recommendations for the best...

Clarisse makes you very welcome. The house is beautifully renovated and immaculately clean. Our room was great and the breakfast very nice. One of the best B and Bs we have ever stayed in. The nearby town of Loche is well worth a visit.

We were looking for B&B type lodging to use as a base for exploring the Loire Valley region. Domaine de la Maison Neuve turned out to be a great choice. The rooms and public areas truly reflect the love that Clarisse and her family put into the renovation of this old farm building. You couldn't ask for a more helpful...

We know the area around Loches well as we have long-time French friends whose wonderful country property is nearby. As they had family staying we were on the lookout for a couple of nights while we visited our friends. We have previously had indifferent accommodation in hotels in the area, so searched for a Chambre d'Hotes and lit on Domaine...

Clarisse was a fantastic hostess, she made us so welcome and recommended the best restaurant in the medieval town of Loches ... 100 out of 100 chef's hat quality food. The B&B suite we had was awesome. Just get there if you are anywhere in the region. Clarisse has such wonderful taste in the way she renovated this lovely house....

We used TripAdvisor to find a B&B in the Loire Valley. It is a busy season so we were anxious to find a nice accommodation that was central to the chateau region. Our French friend phoned Clarisse at the Domaine de la Maison Neuve to find they had a recent cancellation and could take us in. Clarisse greeted us most...

We had such a lovely first holiday abroad in July with our 11 month old in Domaine de la Maison Neuve! Clarisse (and her husband!) made us feel so welcome and gave us so much invaluable information on what to do during our stay. The cottage was perfect with the kitchen containing all the utensils you'd ever need and more...

This has to be one of the hardest reviews I have written. Words cannot adequately describe the overall excellence of Domaine de la Maison Neuve nor the hospitality and generosity shown to us by Clarisse. For the first four nights my wife and I stayed in the very comfortable and quiet Peche de vigne bedroom which overlooked the freshly harvested...
