Popped in whilst driving through to Skipton for lunch. We were in relatively early, just after midday, when we arrived we were the first in. Landlord was very friendly and we were made to feel welcome. Ordered our food which was served promptly, well presented and very tasty - can't fault the place. Thanks very much; we will return when...

Stayed for three nights from 19th April. Great pub and restaurant. Staff are very nice and always at hand. Very clean place plenty of parking. Food was really good, great in fact. The room we stayed in was large clean and comfortable. Someone came in everyday to clean and make bed. On a main road but not at all busy....

We went out of our way to visit this terrific place, having been there many moons ago and enjoyed it. We wanted food and ordered, and our order was accepted even though the kitchen had stopped doing meals a little while earlier. Most pubs would have simply said 'Sorry, no can do'. Given that we had two ravenous kids that...

Not much choice on the menu. Food was fine but service not brilliant. We were forgotten about really, took ages for our bill to come and we waited 20 minutes for a member of staff to come collect it, which we never did so had to take it to the till, where there was no apologise.

Thank you for your review. I apologise your experience with us was not as we would hope it would be. Having only recently reopened the menu has a varied choice but will be getting expanded within the coming months once we have been able to gauge what type of dishes people prefer on the menu. I can only apologise about...
