Best stop on the Dales Way walk. Can't fault anything – lovely bedroom, bathroom, and guest sitting room. Wonderful breakfast provided by attentive and friendly owners.

An ideal bed and breakfast for a party of walkers, who were regrettably only able to stay one night. Beautiful house, friendly welcome, excellent breakfast. Possibly the best we've stayed in during several long walks.

Our walking party of 7 stayed two nights and we were loathe to leave. John and Deborah are very welcoming hosts and the house, rooms and facilities are excellent as is the choice and quality of the breakfast. The guest lounge is great for getting together and winding down after a hard days walking in this fabulous area. Derrick Hynam

Just as the Station Inn at Ribblehead was the low point of our Dales Way walk Hartrigg House was the highest one. You spot the house from over a mile away on the Dales Way and you rather hope it might be your B&B. It is set looking down the valley without another property in its eyeline. The welcome is... More

Stayed one night with family doing Dales Inn Way. Very comfortable house could have stayed in bed all day. Very helpful owners. Helped us sort out late luggage delivery and then watched Grand Prix with us. Pity the Pub in the Village has closed, I'd check if it's re-opened but there is a tea room/restaurant. Not a problem if you... More
