We were traveling just after sunset, it was getting darker, we kept expecting to see some sign of civilization and then boom, there was the hotel. Right smack dab in the middle of nowhere with the nearest place to eat nearly 20 miles further down...More
The room was very big and clean. There was even a fridge with a tiny freezer compartment and a microwave.

We left Cedar City Ut. that morning went to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Capital Reef National Park and the Motel was a wonderful sight. Nice clean rooms and after a long day on motorcycles it was just fine. No eating places...More
Like an oasis when arriving at night. No cell service for quite a long time and no buildings in sight then...Boom! Our hotel. Nearest town 20 miles one way, but luckily the staff had microwavable food for us to buy. Kids loved it.
Our car broke down in Hanksville and all Hanksville hotels were booked that night. We found this hotel and booked online for the night. The manager was very nice to us and very pleasant. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy.
The closest restaurant is Luna Mesa but it was closed at the time I was there because of mud. there was a big storm which rained a lot. Luna Mesa should be open now. Next choice is to head east to a little town called... More

Next choice is to head east to a little town called Hanksville. I believe there are three restaurants to choose from. I do not recommend going west to Torrey because of the distance.
