Furu is one of my favourite places in Lofoten to go for food, drinks and good vibes. With its great staff that always makes you feel welcome, cozy atmosphere and good location it’s definitely a must when in Lofoten. No doubt the best vegetarian menu around the Islands and reasonable prices. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook to keep track on their fun events. Thanks Guri, Arne and the whole team, you are awesome.

Want a down to earth, heart warming, and unik place to stay for your Lofoten adventure? This is the place!! Lovely food, nice bedrooms and cheap compared to the rest of Lofoten, and it's right in the middle of everything!

Furu was our go to spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner when in Lofoten - you could tell all meals were made from scratch, the prices are affordable and the vibe always chill and welcoming. Took many friends and relatives here and everyone loved it. Perfect pit stop to chill in between the long drives of Lofoten!

A special hostel in a special place. It is located directly on the lake, surrounded by mountains. All hiking spots and surf beach are within easy reach. We really enjoyed the week. Fresh colours and individually designed rooms. Everywhere the love of nature can be seen in the form of art. The staff have many helpful insider tips to make your stay on the Lofoten even more memorable. Best hostel so far. Definitely coming back!

Was pleasantly surprised by Furu Cafe & Hostel and it exceeded my expectations. Even though it is an older wooden building, it is well maintained and everything worked worked well. Great hot showers, rooms were clean and warm and the whole place was very well run. Must say how great the staff were....all of the staff (reception kitchen and cafe) were GREAT. Really friendly, and always ready to help out and advise. It was wonderful to find healthy and non-standard food, as well as some organic products. If you have transport then it is highly recommended. Basic, not luxurious but so well run. Slept well, ate well and was able to relax. Definitely will return to this place !
