Stayed for 3 nights in 2 bedroom apartment on second floor (2C). Apartment was nice, spacious and well equipped except for very few cooking supplies (no bowls for salad, chips etc) and only a few tea bags etc. these things seem petty to comment on, but leads to my next comment about the management. The manager is not particularly friendly,...

8 of us stayed at the Pavilion for work - comfortable, spacious apartments that are well appointed. Nice people, great location. Mt Maunganui has so much to do in the local area - great location for anything from work to a family holiday.

We only stayed for one night here passing through to the Coromandel peninsula on a recent trip to New Zealand. The Pavilions is a managed apartment complex with a husband and wife team operating it. The accommodation is well located right near Mt Maunganui beach and the Mount itself - just a very short walk to both, with small shops...

One of the most beautifully appointed Suites my hubby and I have stayed in! Spotless, spacious and very tastefully decorated throughout. Beautiful sea views from our balcony and non stop action to be seen on Marine Parade. Every possible amenity was provided which included washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and modern oven with ceramic hobs.Ideal location surrounded by many Restaurants, with...

This hotel is almost as close to the mount as you can get and right across the road from the main mount beach. The room was an apartment style with a separate bedroom, large living area and a great bathroom all of which was clean and modern. Another bonus was the heat pump especially as the day we were there...

Perfect location but this is NOT a luxury or boutique hotel. The room we stayed in (4B) needs some TLC - including black-out blinds at the windows (the sunlight comes streaming in as there are only pale curtains at all windows), some upgraded fixtures/fittings (the kitchen and bathrooms are all very tired), an in-room safe, some sun loungers and a...

We spent 4 nights in The Pavilions, the room was excellently laid out, bed and furniture were very comfortable. Location was the reason for our choice. Reception was warm and efficient, restaurants nearby were great. Walking distance to the town centre with a lot of shops, a vibrant precinct. People start walking up Mt Maunganui from around 5am, and it...

Pavilion has an incredible beachfront location and is adjacent to so many restaurants. Also located at the base of Mount Manganui, an incredibly scenic mountain with ocean views for hiking, walking, and running. Apartment is spacious, clean, and ours had a large balcony overlooking the boardwalk and beach! Can't say enough good about this place. Managers were very friendly and...

We are a family of four and stayed at The Pavilions in January 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so much so that when checking out we spoke to the Managers and rebooked a room for this year. As part of the process we were shown a different apartment as the one we had stayed in was already booked. We...

When we arrived at our apartment there were towels, a tea towel, a dish cloth and a pillowcase in the dryer! There was a clean pillow slip left on the arm of a settee, the back bed had two pillows on the made up bed, two on a shelf in the wardrobe and two more just thrown in the bottom...
