We had intentions of staying here for 2-3 nights, but after checking in we realized the bathroom sink was dirty like it had not been cleaned after previous guests (dried toothpaste, etc all over handles, splatter on mirror, grimey sink). We informed the staff hoping they would clean it right away but the hotel manager said to us "thank you. We will have it cleaned tomorrow." At that point, we decided to tolerate the one night since we already checked in and this room was the 2nd one they assigned us. The bathroom light in the first one didn't work, so they moved us to the room with dirty sink. A/C and fridge worked fine. WiFi was spotty. We were not sure if the bed sheets were fresh either as I noticed hair (that was not ours) under the covers. Dogs barking all night long. The only thing relatively charming or warm about this place is the lounge area on the second floor. The staff was friendly however and they tried to be helpful but could've done better. After the first night in Pedernales, we stayed at the Dona Chavo Hostel for the rest of our visit in this area. Dona was a much better stay and cheaper (1000 pesos, about USD $22 vs 1200 pesos, $27).
