My husband and I visited Manukan Island resort on our Anniversary trip to Sabah. Ben, the manager and the team were so welcoming and ensured we were given a cold drink and towel even although we arrived early. We were able to relax on the beach till our villa was ready. It was stunning with an amazing view to the...

We stayed on Manukan Island for 3 days/2 nights during a recent trip to Borneo and would recommend this for anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, but simple style of accommodation in a beautiful setting. Our room (4a) was recently renovated and very modern and clean, with direct access to the beach. The bed was very comfortable and our bathroom clean...

We booked for one night as a last minute treat during our stay in Borneo. We were overwhelmed by what we got. We originally booked the cheapest double room, but when we arrived and was shown to our room, even though we were before the check in time, we were flabbergasted that we were given a beach villa over looking...

Spent 3 days, 2 nights here. Started with a lovely greeting by very friendly staff. Great room with water views. Large room, good bathroom and nice verandah to sit on and watch the world go by. Try the walk up to sunset point - was cloudy when I went, but still nice. Food in restaurant is nice, dearer than mainland...

After exploring Sabah, we wanted a couple of days of relaxation at a beach resort. We looked at island options close to Kota Kinabalu and this resort was more reasonably priced than others. We got a boat to the island and received a very warm welcome from the staff once we arrived. We were shown to our villa and given...

We visited here for a 4 night short holiday at the end of our main holiday in Malaysia. We were very impressed with all the staff at the resort. They excel in customer service and really do go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We made some comments about the breakfast ( not covered / few flies...

This property is absolutely beautiful and it's the only property on Manukan Island. There's a private beach area for guests and a public beach area for day guests. Once I stepped off of the ferry and walked along the boardwalk towards reception, I immediately felt at ease. I spent a lot of time at the reception area because it was...

I have never before, and will probably never again, stay in such a beautiful resort. The rooms were worth 10 stars, as was the location. Yes, there are many tourists during the day, but they did not bother us in the slightest. The serenity of the island after the tourists leave is amazing - very romantic and beautiful. The breakfast,...

The Manukan Island resort was one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed there for four nights with the stay and dive of Divedown below and really loved our stay there. The staff is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Especially the restaurant staff does anything to make you feel comfortable. We had the pleasure to...

We had a blissful stay on the island and would return in a moment. The villa was sensational and incredibly spacious. The facilities were new and kept spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a broken leg and there were plenty of stairs to navigate but everyone was very helpful and caring to assist with my disability. The...
