Stayed here for one night in March on our way to visit some friends. This is a lovely little place, nestled amid rolling countryside, it’s a haven of peace and tranquillity. I can recommend the ground floor room, spacious and well appointed and spotlessly clean, with a large and comfortable bed. We also had access to a beautiful sitting room...

We spent three fantastic days in the Somerset countryside with friends. Eileen was very welcoming with lovely spacious rooms, clean and very comfortable beds, we had the most filling of breakfasts and choice of how you like your eggs, nothing was too much trouble for Eileen. There was a lounge for visitors and as there was four of us we...

We stayed for a week's B & B at Bagnell Cottage with Eileen and her delightful animals. The cottage is reached along a small country lane and the countryside around it is beautiful with Jacob's Sheep and Red Devon cattle in the fields en route. Eileen is a wonderful host and her breakfasts are delicious with free range eggs from...

Eileen is an excellent hostess; she is welcoming, thoughtful and makes a mean breakfast - with exceptional mushrooms plus home-produced eggs and raspberries. She is also knowledgeable of the local area (which is glorious). Bagnell Cottage is in a stunning location! It is a bit of a trek to get to but that's what we like and it is well...

Follow the website instructions when you find Little Norton, the mill is the key point, then go off the road and up the lane on the corner, keep going past Bagnells Farm and there it is - the delightful cottage! In a rural idyll, this B & B is fantastic value. Clean very large room and bathroom on the ground...

Highly recommend a stay at this lovely B & B. Not normally a fan of B & B's preferring the anonymity of hotels, but, that said, Eileen was very welcoming and not at all intrusive and the arrangement of the business side of things was perfect. I'm converted. Wonderfully presented and Eileen's attention to details in the rooms is very...

We spent two nights, wish it could have been more...in fact, it will be more, as we will definitely be back. Fantastic countryside environment, peace, great walks, cosy and comfortable bedroom with en-suite shower room, large lounge with log burner and TV, the best breakfast we have eaten in years, prepared from REAL local produce - we could go on...

Well what to say. An absolutely fabulous countryside b and b hidden away in Somerset. We were made to feel most welcome and at ease by Eileen who was most helpful and informative on what was in the local area. A must for those looking for a truly friendly relaxing environment.

We stayed at Bagnell Cottage in the self catering flat for a walking holiday. This cottage is very quiet and peaceful and really well equipped. The shower room is new and the shower is a good, powerful one. The heating is efficient if you need it and Eileen has equipped the kitchen with lots of extras. The beds were comfortable...
