Excellent short stay for an early start to Bristol airport and giving us sometime to start our holiday in a lovely relaxed accommodation with everything you would wish for. Make sure you bring a torch as it is very dark and quiet. Perfect for an early night.

Passing the area last minute booking but what a find, it's a lovely place to stay and exceptional value. We don't do golf but obviously it's in the country, quiet, easy parking and we had a great welcome on arrival. Room was cosy with beams but modern, en suite all perfect including wifi. Country club house was very nice inside...

I only stayed one night, leaving early in the morning, so didn't try food etc but the facilities in the room are good, comfortable and very clean. They ask you check in before 8pm but were able to accommodate a later check in. It is a good location if you need somewhere to stay the night before flying from Bristol...

We had a lovely round of golf on Avery well maintained short nine - perfect to get back into golf after not playing for a while. Can't wait to play on the 18 hole course. The greens and fairways are in really good condition. The course is flat so very easy to walk around. Not too many hazards where you...

Flying from Norwich to Exeter we picked up a hire car and drove the hour up the motorway to get to the hotel (very easy and straightforward). We were welcomed by Hannah who directed us to our room (12). Our room had a double and single bed, was lovely...

We found this place purely by chance on Trip Advisor, for my mum's 80th birthday. 14 of us descended on the club, with 8 staying overnight. The staff, especially Andrea the hotel manager were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. The chef and the kitchen team were completely flexible - we had some very fussy eaters amongst us! -...

I cannot praise the owners and staff enough for there hosting of Zena and Tracey's wedding. It was truly a personal and superb service. They could not have done more to make it the best wedding I have ever attended. As a professional event organiser it was a pleasure to work with such a hard working and caring team. I...
