This great guest house is the perfect place to stay while you explore beautiful Bakhchisaray. The staff are all great, most speak English, and Pavol, the host, is a volume of information on the region, particularly hiking trails. He is infinitely patient and will spend all the time you need to be sure that you are setting off on the...

Meraba is a great place to stay for a visit to old Bakhchiserai. The staff is friendly, helpful, and create an inviting mood for any length stay. It is centrally located in the old town, and a room with a balcony will give you great views of the surroundings. If you are tied to the internet, don't worry, it works...

Immediately upon our arrival we were kindly received in perfect English, supplied with brochures, maps, and all sorts of information which is particularly rare in Ukraine. Unfortunately, this never happened again on our whole journey! To relax or for breakfast there are cosy pavilions with divans in the garden which match perfectly with the oriental ambience of the town. The...

We spent a lovely two nights here this July. The owners/staff are friendly and helpful without getting up in your business, and their English is very good (I don't speak Russian, although my husband does). The room itself was small but clean and quite pleasant, and the balcony was large, and had a beautiful view over the Khan Palace and...

Excellent clean, quiet, modern rooms overlooking the old town of Bakhchisaray. The Khan's Palace is just around the corner. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and they speak good English. The hotel is great value for money and you can eat good breakfasts in the garden for a few Hryvina extra. We'd strongly recommend Bakhchisaray as a destination and...

I spent really a lot of time looking for a good hotel/hostel in Crimea. Most of the time either review was too good (or too fake) or review did not provide actually the important information. So generalizing my experience I will give a short (but I hope valuable) feedback: - Hotel is good in General do not expect too much...

Hotel Meraba is a friendly, comfortable place to stay with English-speaking owners and staff -- a great value and a valuable experience. Manager Elena made the reservation process very easy -- always responding quickly and patiently answering all of my questions. She even arranged for a driver to take us from Yalta to Bakhchisaray (with stops along the way). We...

We traveled Ukraine with my friends this summer and Bakhchisaray was the place that we really enjoyed a lot! Also because of hotel Meraba - its quality, location and service. Owners are really friendly and generous people who helped us, showed landmarks and told many interesting stories about the city and its history. We planned only one night there, but...

We stayed here for two nights on our trip to Bakhchisaray and actually looked forward to arriving at the hostel to rest in the evenings after walking around in the hottest summer in recent history when we were there. The environment is so very welcoming and comfortable and the host very generous. She would even lend us her personal laptop...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This lovely little hotel is just minutes away from the Bakhchisaray Khan's Palace. It's big on charm and far from the chaos of the city's traffic and noise. We are located in the center of the historical city of the Crimean Khans and peninsula at all. And it's a perfect place to stay with us and travel around Crimea. Each room has soft beds, wardrobe, bathroom with a shower unit, cable TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, refrigerator. We speak English and Polish! ... more   less
