We stayed here over Labour weekend and what a find. Anna and Brett are fantastic hosts and the location of our Sauvignon suite superb. Sitting up in bed admiring the budding vines from both windows, the sun lighting up a distant mountain range and savoring a healthy first class breakfast prepared by Anna, bliss. Everything is thought of, even chilled...

If you are visiting the he Neilson region, you should make plans to visit Milcrest Estate. Our hosts Anna & Brett could not have been more accommodating and our room was beautifully positioned to take in the vineyard with its Sauvignon Blanc vines just bursting into spring bud. Everything we needed was at our fingertips - they thought of everything...

We've just spent a night at Milcrest and absolutely loved it. So peaceful in the midst of the grape vines. The room is lovely and spacious, fantastic shower, pretty comfy bed and good facilities. Continental breakfast this morning was simple but elevated by fresh juiced apple and a great "detox" juice of apple, beetroot, celery and kale. Brett and Anna...

What an amazing place to stay. We loved spending our wedding night with you, and appreciated the privacy, luxury and amazing breakfast platter that you had waiting for us in our room. It was lovely to meet you and we can't wait to come back for an anniversary.

Fantastic hosts Brett and Anna give you a warm welcome and everything you need from helpful advice to a fantastic continental breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. This was by far the most relaxing, luxurious and inviting stay on our two week South Island tour. Amazing views to wake up too each morning and so peaceful and relaxing at night....

If you're not into noisy central hotels/motels (like us) but want privacy and your own bathroom then this is the place. Close to Nelson - about ten minutes drive, very quiet and personable. Exceptionally clean, modern and well appointed accommodation complete with en-suite and superb views over the vineyard and hills beyond. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts...

The location is great, and very peaceful, and the spacious accommodation is of a very high standard. The friendly owners were really welcoming, and we enjoyed the information on the operation of the winery during the excellent wine tasting.

Very spacious and well appointed room right in the vineyards. We stayed in the Sav Blanc room with its lovely outlook. Breakfast was generous. Lovely and quiet for a good nights sleep. It would be great place for a group of friends to stay to enjoy the wines in the area. There was a microwave and I think a slow...

We stayed in the Sauvignon Blanc room which opens out onto a patio are overlooking the vines - wonderful to sit there with your early morning coffee or sun downer. The room is spacious and very tastefully decorated and the bathroom is vast with a wonderful power shower. You fill in the menu request everyday for your breakfast, which Christine...

The accommodation on offer is of a very high standard and would be a good base for people touring the area. It is very quiet but not far from Nelson. We took the 'Pinot Noir' room and the facilities were excellent, however there is only a microwave so you wouldn't be able to attempt any serious cooking. The on-site shop...
