While traveling through Indonesia I got to stay at this amazing hotel. There is just so many amazing things about this hotel but I'll start form the beginning. The staff is super friendly and always there to help. Even when you don't ask for it, if they think they can help you they will come to your aid! A lot of the staff can speak English very well and they all make you feel right at home! The hotel itself is beautiful with a lush green garden and a traditional looking building. The rooms are stunning with clean towels and great decor and the bathroom has all the luxury you'd want. The hotel is eco friendly and they have water refill stations which is a great surprise. The cons of traveling are the amount of plastic bottles you have to buy for water, but here you can refill a glass bottle and just take it to the room! They also advise you to turn off electricity when not in use and they want to become plastic free, and encourage guests to do the same. The waiste is all sepperated and recycled and you can really feel that the hotel want to make an impact and be progressive! I normally dislike bigger hotels but this one does not take away from nature but works with it and uses it to show the beauty of native Flores! The food is amazing as well and the view from the restaurant to the beach is great! They clean the beach all the time to make sure that there is not to much plastic washing ashore which is a great initiative. They also wok together with the WWF which is another bonus. I can keep going about what I like about this hotel but then the review would be too long! Even for me as a very eco-conscious person this hotel ticked all the boxes. It has everything you could need from a hotel, you can even do trips and tours from the hotel so you'll never be bored!

Puri Sari is above and beyond one of the nicest places we've stayed in Asia (probably the world) and a quiet paradise on the island of Flores. We simply cannot recommend this place enough.
Room are spacious, clean and well maintained, each with its own balcony, which is perfect for the evenings. The restaurant by the beach has a great selection of dishes – they make a fantastic seafood curry and a phenomenal grilled grouper. In the evenings, local performers gently strum the instrument of their choice to lend a subtle, romantic air to your meal.
The breakfast is brilliant: red dragonfruit or citrus juice, free flowing coffee, and your choice of breaded treats or local delights. There is a a lovely private beach, which if perfect for watching the amazing sunsets, complete with beanbags or loungers. If you prefer, they have a pool in the well kept garden too.
The location is a little outside of Labuan Bajo town, which makes the place feel safe, quiet and cosy. The hotel provides a regular shuttle service every hour or so back and forth to save you mucking about with taxis.
One of the things that makes Puri Sari amazing is by far the staff. We really want to say thank you in this review to each and every one of them that made our trip special. From the moment they picked us from the airport, they made the effort to remember who we were, always with a smile at dinner or breakfast. They helped us book our trips with reputable tour companies, offered advice wherever needed and just generally went out of their way to make our holiday perfect. We cannot thank you enough and, just as you remembered us, we will remember you fondly.
We stayed here on honeymoon in December for one week and wish we had made it longer. When you're not trekking across Komodo or snorkelling around the beautiful coral and marvelling at the amount of life beneath the suface, this is perfect place to lay your head and restore the balance in your soul. Puri Sari is a wonderful experience. The rooms are very well appointed with enormous beds and ensuite bathrooms to match. They are beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. The accommodation is set well back from the beach and pool, but it is an easy walk to the front where the restaurant has been recently expanded. The breakfast buffet is first class and the other meals are well up to standard as well, probably because of the very attentive manager. Staff are friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. This place is a piece of paradise. The hotel is outstanding, the rooms are so clean and beautiful and the furnishings are top notch, too. Then next I have to speak of the amazing staff that work as a team, wait staff in the dining area, and the chefs serve some great food, Balinese and Italian Chefs! We haven’t had anything that wasn’t perfect from the kitchen. Housekeeping, pool boy, gardeners and the front desk employees. They are all simply amazing, they always have an eye on you and can tell in a heartbeat if you need anything and come running to assist you. You will want for nothing at this hotel. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably clean, lovely pool, and the cleanest beach in all of Labuan Bajo. I can’t rate Puri Sari high enough. I travel all over the world and this is one of the finest accommodations I have stayed at for meeting all our needs at 💯 % efficiency. And don’t miss getting a massage in the middle of the gardens! Also this hotel is very close to being 💯 % Eco friendly. A few of the employees that really stand out are Ano, Hendra, Inn, and last but not least is Hero. Stayed for one night after our liveaboard trip. Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; front desk lady who checked us in and out and the guy at breakfast was super friendly and hospitable. The room was large with a huge bed fully encased in a mosquito net and also a big bathroom with walk-in shower. It is out of town and a taxi will cost IDR 50k each way but it has a private beach front and only 10 minutes from the airport. Thank you Puri Sari for an enjoyable stay!

The top two excellent aspects of this hotel is the outdoor dining ( breakfast, sunset cocktail and dinner ) one step away from the beach and the staff. If you can get the villa. The ambient is relaxing and it is a good start point for the trip around Flores.

We arrived on a morning expected to fly out to Bali; our plans changed unexpectedly and booked our rooms for our family on a last minute. We were welcomed with warmth and immediately shown to our rooms. Peace settled in our hearts with the serenity and beauty of the beach and garden. Every day we were captivated by a dance of colorful birds that lived between the trees; together with our breakfast with a selection amazing drinks from the restaurant, food was always fresh and ready to adapted to our needs. The staff were always eager and patient to please our dietary needs. It all went so fast, 12 days swift by so quickly, we were obviously at home by the beach at Puri Sari Beach hotel. We spent two nights in Puri Sari as part of a pre-booked tour. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The setting, on the beach, is very pretty. The restaurant is right on the beach, the menu is extensive and the food is delicious and plentiful. When we return to Labuan Bajo this will be our hotel of choice.

We spent one week staying in the Puri Sari as part of a diving holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you guys. A quite large and open hotel, situated a 5/10 minute drive from the town centre we were greeted and shown to our large, spacious and comfortable room with a large double bed and large bathroom/shower. All was very clean and we had all the usual accessories (coffee, clothes rack, safe, bug repellent, laundry basket and fresh water). A short walk through the gardens and fish pond took us to the swimming pool and spacious bar/restaurant where light music was played each evening. The European and Indonesian style food was excellent and served by friendly efficient staff who were always keen to help, they were all great. Breakfast provided fresh omelettes, noodles, breads etc. Finally another short walk brought you to the beach, and while It is cleaned and maintained daily, we found that plastics and other debris soon washed ashore despite the best efforts of hotel staff… and if you walked beyond the hotel limits the litter became much worse. A sad reflection on the state of global oceans and plastic pollution. We all must stop discarding rubbish into our seas! Moving one, we had a great stay here and all for a reasonable price. Your question has been answered by comments above. This is a lovely place to stay. Beautiful gardens, lovely pool, great food and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious with your own verandah. There are lounge chairs on the beach to sit and watch the sunset. Can't go wrong here! Wish I was visiting again!

The beach water doesn’t appear to be too clean so may not want to offshore fish there. I’m sure the hotel could arrange a boat but likely you would have to go to the port in town

The beach is cleaned by hotel staff each morning. Great spot for the sunset. We didn’t swim, nor did we see anyone else swimming. Maybe further down the beach at high tide? There is a lovely pool tho. Lovely relaxing place to stay.
Hi,
LBJ is not a big place. Although the hotel is outside the centre (so nice and quiet), it only takes approx 8 min by taxi from and to the harbour and approx 10 to the airport. They do free shuttles to the city and AirPort!
There are more places to choose from in the Labuan Bajo area.
