I stayed in quite a few places in Labuan Bajo due to underestimation of the high-season, so I got a bit of an overview of the various options. If you want something little bit more than the budget accommodation, Villa Seirama Alam is the perfect...More

We had a great stay at Villa Seirama Alam. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and we loved the bedroom in the Villa we stayed in - it felt like a cozy little ship's cabin overlooking the water. A/C worked very well. The open area kitchen...More

Dear Chris, please let me know if I can be of help for your planning to visit Labuan Bajo and the dragons. Our website explains most of the open questions. Airport tp the Villa takes 5 min drive, allow 15 min to the airport due to a unique one way system Labuan Bajo has. Some of the information I read above are not accurate, even though it might be what the guest has heard or experienced.
Diving this year went on non-stop for the entire rainy season, but yes, if winds pick-up they mighy havr to cancel trips. There is a taxi counter at the airport for arriving guests, now charging 60.000 Rp. We have an arrangement with a driver and keep the price at the former 50.000 Rp. Airport transfers are included for guests staying three nights and more. Shops and restaurants are five minutes walk downhill (maybe 10 min uphill when you want to walk back). There is no rregular schedule for the minibuses. They drive during daylight hours and you must be very unlucky if you have to wait for more than 5 minutes. e are located at the upper mainroda of Labuan Bajo, right behind the harbour. Another common transport in town is called ojek, motorbike taxis who bring you everywhere in town for 5,000 Rp. Let me know if there are more questions, please go through our website in case you would like to book, best wishes, Volker
