Fantastic stay! We splurged on this beautiful new 5 star hotel and picked a suite. Stunning hotel with beautiful infinity pool on 6th floor roof overlooking the harbor and surrounding city. Suite was spotless with every detail and all the amenities covered, staff was very friendly and helpful with any requests we had being fully with a warm smile. Breakfast starts at 6am so you have about 15-20 before your Komodo island tour bus picks you up(your the last stop before the dock) so 6am pick up will be around 6:20am at this hotel. Breakfast is out of this world! Everything you can imagine plus it’s fresh with fantastic service. This is a 5 stars resort in an up and coming city that I’m sure will be a modern, clean upscale Version of Bali in 10 years. Airport is 7 minutes away and a $3 taxi ride, roads are new or being upgraded and modern upscale businesses are coming in, so much potential to come for this beautiful community. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

I have just returned from 5 days staying at the Inaya Bay Komodo and this Hotel was Excellent. The Location was good and close to many restaurants, Rooms were clean with a balcony looking over the Harbour, the 6th Floor provided some pristine views at sunset, the food was good and an excellent chef and the management and staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
I will plan to return again for Xmas and New Year and highly rate this hotel.

We got online price of 2M IDR ($130) per night for the nice ocean view room and was definitely worth it.
However the pricing in this hotel makes no sense, they wouldn’t match online prices when we were extending despite this costing them huge fees so we just booked online again. Also the rooms at the back with no view are almost the same price ($110 online) at time of booking and definitely not worth it compared to the ocean view rooms. The hill view rooms should be half of the price and maybe this is why the hotel is not reviewed better.
Negatives are the sound of the mosque and the harbour being busy but you get these noises everywhere in Labuan Bajo so can’t blame the hotel.
We spent ages searching and even stayed in another hotel for a night which was horrendous so realistically this is the only good option in Labuan Bajo for an upmarket hotel.
Location being in Labuan Bajo itself is a positive meaning lots of tours, dive shops and good restraints are a short walk away.
View from rooftop pool is one of the best we have seen and was a highlight of our visit.
We didn’t use the hotel food as was expensive compared to lots of great local options nearby.
One major negative - the laundry is price by item and is incredibly expensive (eg $4 for 1 t shirt, $5.50 for 1 trousers) so we went somewhere else near us and they did 20k for 1 kilo…. When we picked up our laundry guess which hotel staff were picking up laundry….

Lovely rooms with stunning views of the harbour and pier. Very central to everything with lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance. A few things that were annoying. We booked a day tour to Komodo Island and requested two pool towels for the day. They had none available so I asked if we could take the room towels. They agreed and charged $10 per towel. The receptionist said the $10 per towel would be refunded on return however it was not. The electric bikes for hire out the front are not safe to use. My son’s bike lost its brakes and my bike ran out of power so we had to push the bikes up steep hills to get them back to the hotel. Lastly we ordered breakfast boxes for the morning of our day cruise. They consider of 2 tiny pastries, a rotten apple and a small juice box which cost is $30 for 2. I don’t recommend buying the breakfast boxes.

We thank you for the appreciative and kind comments about our hotel's views and location which next to harbour and surrounded by shops that can be reached by walking distance. We regret for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your stay with us. The towels we provided in the room were not supposed to bring outside, however there were towels that can be rent which cost you of IDR 50000 per towel which has been advised to you on the day you have requested and agreed to paid. It was unfortunate that you had to experience the issue with the electric bikes and caused you to pushed the bikes back to the hotel. We have been addressed by this issue and as the part of the commitment, twice in a wee we carry the regular maintenance check. And after the unit being used, the unit supposed to be taken to the charging station for charging to avoid batteries drain, and we are terribly sorry if we missed this part when you were using the bike. As part of the commitment as we focused for our guest's experience we have refunded the payment for the bikes. We regret you had to experience the challenged during your stay. Your comment has now been reviewed and became our concern in the management. We would to take this opportunity to apologize for not being up to our usual standards and rest assured we take these moments to reflect and to improve. The sea view was beautiful! We had great breakfast served on the 6th floor, the rooftop, which pampered your eyes with beautiful sea scenery. The hotel even served its own tasty version of Kompiang - local famous snack. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Well, the mineral water provided was no longer the one we previously ever read on the review. It was local one. We have no problem with that tho.
On our last day, the hotel, well actually the whole area, experienced issue concerning fresh water. Took time to finally be able to access the water. But we were so grateful we met a very helpful front office staff namely Nadine who lent a hand looking for room which still have access to fresh water. She even walked from one room to another just to check it for us. Such a blessing to meet her during that time. She touched us with her kindness. Hope to be back again one day.

The hotel location was strategic, situated nearby the beach, groceries and ATMs, and it only took us 15 minutes to get to the souvenir store and airport. Meruorah Hotel is surely a go-to hotel when you decide to stay in Bajo. We loved how the amenities and the dishes served by the hotel during our visit.
One thing for sure, you don't need to go anywhere else to catch the beautiful and instagrammable view of Bajo islands surrounded by the eastern sea, because just by looking out of the hotel's window you'll have such panoramic view.
As for any official occupation, Meruorah provided us suffice rooms and facilities to hold any official meetings. We had great time when holding our annual meeting there.
Overall, I would love to go back to stay there whenever I visit Bajo in the future, whether on my own or during my office-related work. Thanks Meurorah!

We stayed for 2 nights along our 11-day trip through Indonesia. The architecture of the hotel is very unique and flowing; when you walk into the open air lobby with expansive views of the bay you can’t help but be immediately impressed. Our room (3036) was clean, spacious, had a great view of the bay and harbor, and all the usual corporate hotel bits and pieces. There was a big window to the shower right next to the bed, which was a bit strange, but at least included a shode you can draw if you don’t want to put on show for your roommate. We took advantage of the laundry service for several t-shirts and a few pairs of pants that was ready next day and smelled great, but was delivered a little later than the 10am quoted time and a bit pricey at about 700k IDE (~$42). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast had a wide variety of Asian and international options; Jagung Bose was a delicious local breakfast, sort of a corn & red bean coconut cream porridge served with little dried fish that added a nice chew texture with slightly salty and a little heat. Overall, definitely would stay here anytime in the area.

Have a great expecation as this hotel hosting previous High Level ASEAN presidential meeting in May 2023.
Arriving at the hotel with a lobby offering great view of the bay and the pier. However, was ask to wait until 3pm said the room not ready but I did not see any guests checking out between 1.30pm to 2.30pm which make me puzzle if it is they really do not have rooms available or just stick with the rule of 3pm especially when I have 2 young kids with me. Anyway, just follow the rule.
Entering the room which offer great view of the pier and ocean, however the room is very simple (which make me even wondering how long does it take to clean the room), bathroom amenities could be improve considering the room rate.
All after all, we have a good trip for island hooping as well as to see Komodo Island. The staff were great but breakfast was too simple which could be even better with the price they tagged for the customers. The next door seafood, not as good as what offered in other island and the price does not equal to quality of food, maybe it is the way it is at Labuan Bajo which I think over priced.

All processes, such as booking, check-in, handling luggage, and entering the room, went smoothly and were well-organized. The staff members were helpful and courteous. The complimentary breakfast is delicious, and the view from MoonBar is fantastic. The hotel is conveniently located near the commercial area and Kampung Ujung night market. I would love to stay here every time I visit Labuan Bajo.
