Loccal collection has been exceptional in terms of providing personalized service and attention to us during our stay. All of the staffs have been very friendly, attentive and providing exceptional services… especially nona Grace and friends from the restaurants / F&B division…. They have been very fast in responding to our concern such as turning basic breakfast experience into an exceptional one…. The have been very kind in upgrading our room to a suite which was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to be seriously considered if you are planning to stay in labuan bajo/flores area since its location also pretty close to airport and Harbour.

As I said, it was the best decision to stayed in Loccal collection. Why? You will get the best view to see the sunset plus with the beautiful scenery. I must say this accommodation clean, the choice of breakfast quite various, the room was ok even it was not too spacious for suite room and we didn't get room with view which too bad actually :(, they have 2 pools (infinity pool and regular pool).
Every corner was Esthetique and "instagramable" :) the staff was polite and always gave greeting when they meet the guest.
We met with Made which made us took picture and he explain about Loccal collection when it starts, what kind of room they have, and he was very nice to give us a chance to see the other suite room with the private pool! which very cool actually! Also, I met with Riani, she was very nice offering me to take picture and also, she was showing the best view to take a picture! and Riani also helping me when one of our stuffs was left in the hotel which our mistake. So, if you are looking for a great place to stayed during in labuan bajo which not to feel like "stay in hotel" I would really recommend to stayed in here.

I went here with my friends. I didn't expect anything when I first came here, and it was a really amazing time and experience! First of all, it is easy to access,very near the town. The staffs are really helpful, the view and the decoration is so pretty and instagramable Totally recommended for youngster and food seeker! The foods is unexpectedly on a large portion and delicious with the price that is normal for Labuan Bajo, totally worth it!

I came here for the restaurant because i heard it has a breathtaking view especially at sunset. I arrived before the sunset but before entering the hotel there is something that smell unpleasant. Later, I found out that to enter the restaurant you have to pay for Rp200k voucher.
The place was so crowded that me and my friend had to stand somewhere less crowded. As we watched the sunset, the guests one by one were leaving. We got the table at 18.15 by ourselves. No staff was assisting us to help for the table. No clear queueing system in this restaurant.
I think the food and beverages offered were too overpriced. We ordered Nasi Goreng, Smoked Beef Pizza, Ice Lychee Tea, and Matcha Smoothies to cap the voucher quota. We ordered at around 18.30. 15 minutes later all order was served except for the pizza. We then just waited patiently and kill the time by having some chat. However, the pizza was still not arrived an hour later. We also asked for another cutleries an hour before but the staff said they were overwhelmed by the guests occupancy. However, as I saw there are at least 4 tables were empty and all the staff were just gone, hard to call. The staff then apologized and tried to bring the pizza as fast as possible.
5 minutes later, the pizza arrived but it was a catastrophy. The pizza was overcooked, bun was so hard as it almost as hard as a brick that maybe i could make my own house by these slices. I was very disappointed that we have to wait for this fail pizza for an hour. I attached the horrible pizza here to show my biggest disappointment
After I asked the bill, the staffs were apologizing again.
My suggestions for the restaurant: 1. Please make a queuing system orderly before you urged the guest to pay for Rp200k voucher. 2. As it is still pandemic situation, please pay attention for the occupancy and health protocol in the area 3. Please pay more attention to guest needs. Waiters should be always visible to guest as they need to be served 4. Pay attention again for your food amd beverages quality. 5. Please treat your entry area as it has very disturbing smell

Choose this hotel as I always want to go to Santorini, so as a start I try this hotel and see what it looks like in the mini version of the Bajo area. The hotel has a great view from the pool area and private area above the bar which is only accessed by in- house guests. Sunset was stunning. Be ready for crowd during sunset as the restaurant open for public and mostly people come to enjoy the sunset and photos. As an in-house guests you will have no privacy or peacefully to use the pool and watch sunset. The pool was dirty with dead insect and it seemed it did not cleaned as daily basis. Bean bag dirty as well the sunbeds. We use the towel to cover it and sat few minutes for photo and enjoying the morning time. Best time to take photo and use the pool is in the morning.
We have a full day trip which leaves early, so we requested take away breakfast. I'm disappointed. With all the selection of breakfast they have, on the buffet, they just give us very basic. I tried all the food for breakfast. Each day they have something different. Mostly Asian/ Indonesian food. Limited selection for western food.
I always bring my laptop on vacation and hope I can work at night, but the WiFi is not great.
Only basic amenities, so you must bring your own lotion. I hope they provide a face tower so we can use it for the shower. Shower gel without a towel seems difficult. They need to provide a small container to put hand soap by the wastafel, otherwise soaps gone everywhere.
The hotel is actually close to the centre and very close to the airport.
The staff at the breakfast area is really friendly. My suggestion, the hotel must make a clear sign for the eggs counter. The counter is too high just like a bank counter. It's supposed to be at the lower counter so we can see the stove and how the egg cook and guests obviously will notice the counter.
As for the TV, it didn't work. Kind like accessories for the wall 😅 I don't think the hotel has satellite TV working, knowing most of the guests must be spending their time on outdoor activities.
The room is clean, standard service. Overall, my stay at Loccal is good. It's a good place to stay with girl friends for fun and take lots of selfies 😊, not for relaxing or enjoying the facility, as it's open to the public.

You don't have to stay overnight here to enjoy the facilities, You can simply make a reservation for lunch or dinner and you can roam around the place to take pictures. The minimum charge is IDR 200,000/person. You can also choose to book a spot outdoor or indoor.
It tried spaghetti lobster with sambal matah. The lobster size is reasonable for the price offered. Service is a bit slow, though. After all, people come here to take pictures, not to dine.

My family of 13 pax stayed one night in this hotel. Three rooms out of five were upgraded into Pool Access (Suite room). This because my Agoda reservation did not received by the hotel, so the receptionist offered upgraded room for free. Thanks a lot mbak Natalia. Hotel has the BEST view of Labuan Bajo overlooking the sea. They have lots of instagramable spot for those of you who like taking pictures. Sunset was amazing from their resto in 5th floor. Room was spacious, comfy bed and very nice bathroom with bright lights. We had dinner in local seafood resto only 300-400 meters walk from the hotel. It was delicious. Breakfast mostly Indonesian food and the taste was just OK. This hotel only have one elevator (max 4 pax) that connects the lobby to the rooms, so mostly we need to queue, unless we take the stairs. Overall we had incredible stay at the Loccal Collection.

I took cave room with no view and the term "no view" is no joke. The room has no window, so for those who who has claustrophobic definitely not recommended. Wifi is sooo bad and slow even no signal from time to time. The hotel has romantic ambience with stunning view but since this hotel is very popular for its instagramable features, it was soooo crowded with people taking pictures non stop the pool and lounge area. Staffs at resto are friendly but not very helpful. Check in and check out process are flawless two thumbs up.for the staff. Will I comeback.. I don't think I will.

There only two nice aspects of this hotel. First, is has really a nice view of the ocean. Second, staff are kind, helpful and polite. The rest is total crap. It was very noisy when were were staying due to maintenance that went on 3 days starting 9 am in the morning. We were not informed of this when booking. There was a small poo-like thing (they call if private pool) in the small balcony which was also noisy because of water circulation. There was no door of the toilet and bathroom section of the room which is also annoying if you have a kid with you in the room. As for the restaurant, Indonesian local food is served. I cannot make comment on the quality though. The breakfast buffet had the same. No cheese is available. Egg was the life saver:-) Soft drinks at the breakfast were almost disgusting. When you order food at dinner, expect long delays in the service. I ordered fish one evening it took more than one hour to be served. It was almost cold when it is served. The second day I ordered shrimps, I had to wait for one hour. The easiest/fastest they can serve is spaghetti which takes 40 minutes. There are two small pools in the hotel. One is only for to take nice insta photos. The other is a bit larger but there are many ants in the pool. If you have insect fear avoid this hotel, there are many. In conclusion, the staff and view are the only good aspects of this hotel. I do not recommend it if you are looking for a clean, insect free, quiet and spacious rooms.

At first impression of this hotel is small with amazing view and balcony ambience, infinity swim pool with spectacular sunset, room was clean and housekeeping team are always around whenever you need them in the morning time, I took Villa Rangko and 1 of the normal room during our stayed (we stayed for 3nights ) The disappointment from this hotel is when we booked the villa and the other guess having their party till late night and they were drunk it was really uncomfortable feeling so you definitely don’t hv your privacy or good timing to sleep when the next day you will have a lots of outdoor activities, staff are not much helping and they need to be train as a high standard performance of hospitality if you want the value of customers are coming back again,because they really have poor hospitality at some points and lack of knowledge about good service for the guests , I had experience at breakfast time and they don’t even smile to the guests and or direct the guests to find table or helping to be seated,this kind of things are far away from your imagination, mostly they will just ignored you and keep looking your own table even it’s full, for elderly people are not suggested for this hotel because the hotel hv a long walk of up and down hill, to stay 1 day it’s more than enough because this place are just offer you view and Instagramable pictures spot, but not much nature around the hotel itself, day time it’s gonna be boring view indeed, food quality are average, check out time need it so much time consumes and again the staff need to get more train on how to perform well on their duty. If you ask me if I want to comeback, I don’t think so because first impression of hotel hospitality are zero. But I have to thank you for the hotel staff who arrange my birthday decoration upon my arrival. That’s was good point. And thank we try the spa as well and it was good specially after Many activities we had so Spa is the one you need it most to relax your body.
