Booked 3 nights direct from the hotel sales team for Grand Studio room, and when i arrived late at night, surprisingly, our room got upgraded to City Simplify for the first night (thank you!), but for the next day they told us that we’ll be moved back to the Grand Studio, but since the next day we’re going on a boat toar from early morning ‘till late afternoon, we asked them to move the luggages for us. When we arrived at the hotel after the tour and went to the receptionist to asked for the new room key, we’re told that they upgraded the room to the Premiere Single. Wow, we were so tired from the tour and got such a good news, thank you again!
The Premiere Single Room is spacious, it has balcony with sea and city view. The bathroom also spacious and modern. We love it so much that we choose to extend our stay at this room for one more night (since my flight got rescheduled all of sudden).
However, there are few things that need to be improved. On the 3rd day, around 9am while i’m still in bed, the housekeeping knocked at the door but since i’m too tired, i just let it be without responding since usually after few knocking the housekeepers will skip the room if there’s no responses (at least that what usually happened when i stayed at other hotels). To my surprise, i heard the unlock door sounds and the door being opened. It woke me up & startled me so i jumped out the bed in an instance and asked what’s wrong and she said if i want the room to be cleaned, well i responded that if i don’t respond doesn’t it means i don’t want to? What makes they think that no response means they’re allowed to enter the room without permission, even when i don’t hang the “don’t disturb” sign?
I don’t hang the “please make up the room” either so i don’t think they’re supposed to enter the room at all.
Later i told the receptionist what happened and he said that it was a turned down service that they checked the room for the amenities or clean a bit.. so when they checked the room and it got no response, they might think there’s no one in there and went in to check. It still not appropriate tho’, kinda makes you wonder if the staffs somehow enter the room without our permission when we’re not in the room. But i already told the receptionis about this, and he apologize and will make sure it doesn’t happen again in the future. So kudos to the staffs for receiving the guest complain & input pretty well. The other thing is breakfast could be improved, too limited choice, adding other varian of food would be nice.
Overall, it’s a very pleasant stay. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hospitality is lovely. The hotel connected to Labuan Square and even Zasgo Mart so no need to worries if you’re hungry or in need of emergency amenities. Thank you Zasgo Hotel, would be back for sure!

Booked this accoms last minute because my live-on-board boat trip was cancelled due to bad weather. Had a warm reception from the front desk, and special mention to Elsa and Senia. Elsa was able to recommend visiting Batu Cermin cave and also arrange for the transport to and fro. And expecting that language may be a barrier, she warmly helped to pass the message to our driver with regards to the arrangement and where to get our lunch. We stayed in the Premier ocean room, rooms were very spacious and clean. Room cleaning services was 2 times a day! Breakfast was served at the top floor, where the view was good. Spread was limited.

We had a great stay at Zasgo hotel! Travelled with my family (2 kids and husband), parents and friends. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. It's a newer hotel, so nicely appointed. We had a view of the marina which was beautiful. The location was excellent, it took less than 10 minutes to walk to the main street with shops and restaurants. The kids very much enjoyed the pool while we ate dinner on the pool deck. We liked the food, but it wasn't anything special. Although they could not seem to understand that a "cheese pizza" should have tomato sauce and cheese on top (we got pizza crust with cheese and a drizzle of sweet tomato sauce/maybe ketchup on top). But to be fair, we had a hard time ordering a cheese pizza our entire time in Indonesia. I also liked that the pool stayed open a bit late, until 8pm I believe, which was much later than any other hotel we had stayed at in the country and which I very much appreciated. The hotel is on top of a grocery store which was super convenient for us and there are also some shops and an arcade called "fun land" which the kids had a blast playing at. The only other negative was that they do not have any beach towels you can borrow and you are not allowed to take the pool towels or the room towels. This was really unfortunate since the tour company for our boat tour of Komodo also did not provide towels. It would have been really nice if they were able to lend some beach towels for the day. But otherwise, we had a very nice stay. I would stay again.

Good hotel - friendly staff - amazing Infiniti pool for sunset — my only problem was the room did had a safety box. I booked one of cheaper type of room. When I ask for safety box they told me that because of the type of room I booked , It did not had a safety box. That’s just plain wrong. Is like saying I will give you less towels because you booked a cheaper room. They are some things in any hotel that need to be standard no matter the type of room you booked . Like safety boxes . As a traveler you will always carry high important documents like passport or cash that you don’t want to carry while you got on the Komodo tour , and want to live in a secure place at your hotel. New hotel with really good rooms - clean, comfy bed, Android TV (I could watch my Netflix!). The fact that the room had no windows wasn't a problem after all cos we were outside the room for most of the day.
The hotel also has a great pool bar area on Lvl 3 where the view of the sea and sunset is incredibly superb, my favourite thing about the hotel. You can also enjoy the same view from their rooftop restaurant.
Most days, we had to leave before breakfast time at 6.30am, so it was great that they had packed breakfast options of mi goreng, nasi goreng or banana pancakes.
An added bonus is the location. The hotel is part of Labuan Square which means that the same building has a supermarket and some other shops (an arcade, a Miniso, CFC which is a fried chicken chain and some other shops).
Highly recommend to stay here. Walk to shops nearby is easy because of the good pathways. Takes us 10+ mins to reach most of the shops we need

Beautiful view from the pool. Very few vegan options on the menu, however, the chef created vegan dishes for me from scratch which I appreciated. The staff are awesome. The cleaners and attendants were very helpful and kind, more so than the reception staff. That is what made it the most enjoyable. Very clean, relaxing, homely. Short walk to lots of convenient places. We walked from the airport to the hotel. The price was very reasonable, so worth getting the inclusive breakfast! The views alone from the restaurant are worth it and the price can't be beaten. Shout out to: Ratsma, Evan, Made, Elsa, Aden, Efron, and Fabri for all their help. They made us very happy and comfortable. Thank you Zasgo staff!

I stayed at Zasgo hotel for 1 night in May (before diving liveaboard for 4 days), and 2 nights in June (after LOB). The quality of the rooms was stunning. Only opened in May 2023, so everthing brand new. The service from every staff member was exceptional. Warm smiles and all keen for a chat, very friendly and professional. When I returned in June, there was a "Welcome Back" card, and a cut fruit tray waiting in the room for me. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, 5 stars, but price was lower than other comparable hotels (sub 1 million rp per night). Special shout out to reception staff who helped me with my bags, and gave me late checkout of 3pm - Willy, Elsa, Patrisius, Elfin and Hendra. Also roof top restaurant has stunning views (day and night), and even better service. The crew up here looked after my breakfast request, even though my choice was not on the menu. Top marks! And housekeeping, well these guys and girls just keep your room looking fabulous, with a note to welcome you on arrival, to checking everything in order before you return from your days activities. Needless to say there were tips all round. Thank you all for making my stay such a pleasure. I will be returning to Zasgo, next time I am in Labuan Bajo. You guys rock!!!

My favourite spot is the swimming pool evening 🌆 time, from sunset to night 🌉, the view is stunning! The room kept clean every day, with breakfast in the morning.. peanut butter on toast is personal favourite ❤️ The hotel has daily mart Zasgo mart in ground floor, I visit there everyday for small little things. It's easier to get grab food as well here.

This place is superb for the price that we paid. The hotel staff and especially the lovely Mrs Elsa were very welcoming and gave us some helpful recommendations on what we can do around the area. We are thankful that she gave us a spacious room with a balcony and a breathtaking view over the ocean. The room itself is very clean and has all the amenities one could wish for (big Tv wifi, free water and tea, big bathroom with warm water etc.) Furthermore the position of the hotel is very strategic as there's a supermarket and an atm underneath. The main promenade of this lovely tiny city is also only a few minutes down the road.

Dirty tissue and food on the table from the last people who stayed. Luke warm shower at best. No working wifi in the room. The bar only serves beer. And believe it or not, the room lights are turned off, that is the hallway light coming through the only window in this “studio” room. We asked for a refund due to the hotel being not as advertised and were told no. Do yourself a favor and don’t book here.
