Detailed Reviews
Make sure you choose a room with a sea view if you stay here. The hotel is proper and the room is quite spacious. However, the AC is placed on top of the bed and it's leaking! Other things are good, though. The room is clean and the breakfast is okay. They also provide a free shuttle to the airport, a hill-top restaurant called "Taman Laut" and a seafood market called "Kampung Ujung."

The room facilities are good. They also provide varieties of menu for breakfast. The view also awesome.
But 1 thing that disappoint me is the wifi connection is too slow for this kind of hotel. Moreover the internet connection (even though Tel*****l) is not really good, even no connection in some area (where wifi supposedly as a hero).

Location just outside Labuan Bajo and the views of the harbor are advantages of Laprima. It’s walking distance to the city center. And rooms were clean and well equipped. Service is also friendly. Vicinity to MadeInItaly is another plus.
Breakfast is below par (limited options), the pool looked good but was out of service (reason unknown) and access to the beach meant access to 2m of a strip that was more of a fisherboat dock.
Also, a 200k fine for losing the hotel access card is a first time experience…

We stayed one night here after a 12hr day with komodo. The only good thing to say was the bed was very comfortable, the view was lovely and the food was nice. The not so good firstly the room was tiny. The bathroom leaked everywhere and we had to use towels and bath robe (there was only one robe) to soak up water. No handtowel or face washer provided.
There was no tea coffee etc only 2bottles water in room. The air conditioner leaked down the wall all over the phone and message paper. Had to forcibly push door open to get into room.
The food was nice however staff had little understanding of English and we struggled to communicate with them.

This is a second visit to the hotel. Glad to notice the expansion and development of the hotel. Room is spacious enough with balcony and the breakfast now provided many variety of menu. It is easy to explore the island as there is a jetty in front of the hotel. They also have free airport transfer.
Keep up the good work...

This is not a good hotel except location. rooms are not good, shower not working well, linen is old, breakfast in not good, even worse, a lot of staff looking to you but no one to help you for breakfast, no fried eggs, fruits are cut since teh day before, croissants danish forget it, disaster.
and....they charge you Rp 850.000 a night?
Better you do something else.
hospitality is something else.

We book this hotel via our travel agencie in Labuan Bajo, its nicer that what hotel we stayed before in Ruteng and Bajawa. We got Superior Room with sea view and a good breakfast in the morning. Maybe we will stay on this hotel again for our next visiting to Labuan Bajo.

The hotel has a lot of potential :
- spectacular view on the bay and the surrounding Islands
- Nice swimming pool and gardens
But the hotel is really underperforming due to lack of maturity of the personnel.
- they are very young and inefficient at the reception
- wrong invoicing
- prefer to chat amongst them instead of working
- no eye for customer needs and definitively no eye for detail
- no full cleaning of rooms ( at first sight clean, but under the beds ...)
- breakfast limited, one little oven (half broken) for a big hotel ...
- orange juice very watery (more than usual)
This could be a very good hotel if someone with experience and management capacities would make work of it. If it continues as it currently is, we fear that this will turn in a mediocre hotel very quickly.

Hi i wanted to go to see the komodo dragons , so many options where do you start, so i decided to do it on my own , booked the flights with lion air from bali , had no problem with them 20 min late thats ok the plane was there . i booked the hotel i picked Laprima hotel it was great sent them a email with our arrival time and they picked us up at the air port no charge , on arrival i did not have a trip booked to rinca so i went to the docks to look for a boat not so easy found one he wanted $100 for the return trip, plus we had to pay for the park fees ect. went back to the hotel and asked if they arranged tours , which i never do through hotels . they had 6 pages of different tours all you could want to do we picked rinca day trip i did not need to see the same thing on 2 islands and did not want to sleep on the deck of a fishing boat which is what they use for most trips , we met a americian Tom in the lobby and he wanted to do the same tour , total cost for the 3 of us $110 appox which inclueded all the fees (except the camera fee) the even had a light lunch , so they picked us up from the hotel with the boat took us to rinca we saw the dragons , got on the boat stoped on the way home did some snorkling the gear was suppiled , over all a great day out , they droped us on the beach at the hotel we jumped in the pool went up stairs and watched th sunset and had a drink on the balcony of our room, went to town had dinner , walked back to the hotel 5-10 min walk , woke up had breaky got taken to air port caught the plane back to Bali , a trip well worth doing
