I don't give it 5 stars just for a little detail, which I think is an opportunity to improve; your attention in the restaurant during breakfast. When staying they include breakfast, despite being a small hotel with only 9 rooms; when they have more than one table, their services become super slow. Breakfast included is nothing that requires super elaboration, yet we sometimes had to wait until 1:45 min to receive our food. If we wanted breakfast in “normal” times we had to be the first to take a table. You asked the waiters for something and they forgot or took long. For example; wait 15 more, to order tortillas and sauce. They brought you the fruit after the main floor, etc.
Its facilities are beautiful, spacious, comfortable. And the nearby beach is very nice and you can snorke two meters inside the beach with plenty of fish to watch.
If we come back but I hope they improve their restaurant service.
It is less than 15 minutes from the beach of Mazunte, Zipolite and Agustinillo.

Just finished an amazing stay at Casa Bichu, right from the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed, this place has some of the most amazing views around, we seen Whales everyday passing by, enjoyed the amazing sunrise every morning from our very comfortable king size bed, all rooms are very private. Also a great beach for swimming and snorkeling or just to lay in the sun. A must stay when in the area.

My son and I got food poisoning at this hotel. No-one (not one word) spoke English.
One roll of toilet paper for a week. Staff can't help and cannot communicate but they knew the English word for "tip".

Small pool was filled with locals when we got there and in the hot tub.
Seems to be a public place.

$300/night is a joke and a rip off
I'm a regular traveller to Asia, India, etc., and I'm not overly fussy but this was ridiculous. Honestly ridiculous.
