We came across this delightful place after our visit to King Arthur's labyrinth. A beautiful setting, stunning interior and the food was amazing! There was nothing to complain about at all. The service prompt and timely and the staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We stopped here on the way home form the National Eisteddfod. The bar is on a convenient location for motorists on the A470 outside Dolgellau. It was very busy when we arrived (8pm), but we were greeted politely by the owner and told there was a 20 minute wait. however, within 5, we were shown to a table a polite...

We visited here after camping in Tywyn with family and friends, and was amazed with our meal. I had the beef which melted in my mouth, food was to die for and was not too expensive, but we got what we paid for. Staff were very good and attentive, can't fault this place, will definitely be back.

We stayed in the CAU room which was absolutely lovely, so well furnished with a gorgeous open fire place and a lovely clean modern bathroom. The...

Went to the restaurant and invited to eat on the decked balcony/terrace: amazed that as our food served people around began smoking. OK, it is outdoors but it is adjacent to the restaurant and that is the access. So took the shine off our meal. Benefit of doubt, next visit we will eat indoors away from the smoking area.

Stayed here for three nights while I was in the area. Rooms were very nice, too nice in fact as I would return each day muddy from the hills of wales! Staff were friendly and competent, remember where I liked to sit and what I would like to drink which is always nice. Food was top notch and the selection...
