Firstly I have to compliment the staff, they are so helpful and efficient, the building itself is beautiful and the food was good but the rooms that we saw ( we declined the first one we were allocated) are best described as an ideal setting for a period drama, unfortunately we declined to be part of the cast and didn't stay for...

We are always looking for new places to stay for short and weekend breaks. I'd seen this hotel featured in various holiday publications and on-line sites in the past, but until now we'd not got round to staying there. Initially, I'd always thought it was a quiet get-away hotel - and it is - but it also has a gym...

The rooms are a little dated but everything works, we got upgraded to a garden room which was lovely. Very good value for money, the food was good with lots of choice on the menu. Used the pool, Jacuzzi and steam room all in all a very relaxing break

That was where the service stopped. We called reception and asked for different things. I was told I had to go and collect...

Stayed for my birthday and had a lovely relaxing time. The hotel had great character with a that nice bygone era feel about it. The decor and lounge area with low ceilings and soft music set the atmosphere for the weekend. The room was spacious comfortable and very clean and the bed was large and soft with a great nights...

Room was clean.Pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam rooms were all good. The gym had plenty of cardio machines but not a lot in the way of weights.Breakfast could've been bigger but then again I'm greedy.Lots of fruits and cereal for the health conscious.£10 each way in a taxi to Rye itself.Plenty of parking and...

My partner and I stayed at Flackley Ash in early Feb. Very nice from the outside. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable and had a good nights sleep. Bathroom was okay but the shower was horrendous. You could hardly wash yourself as the water pressure was so bad. If you are paying the best part of £100...

I was a bit torn on what rating to give this hotel, but thought about others I'd given a four star and thought this one wasn't quite there. I stayed for five nights at the start of Jan. Great news for me is that it's dog friendly so I was able to take my pooch, who stayed in the room...
