Just come back never been so bored at night time as I was here, if you want entertainment this is definitely not the hotel for you! Might as well have been at home sitting down at a local club playing cards. No atmosphere at all. Food was good, beach good, room good & clean

We are a family of 4 - 2 adults, 1 girl (almost 5 years old) and a baby boy (7 months) - and we spent 7 nights at Alea Hotel and Suites in early September. I should say I had some mixed feelings before going there as I had read many of the reviews on tripadvisor. However, I

Hello! There is a fridge in the room and for a small deposit (5/10 euro if I am not wrong) you can take a kettle from the reception. The deposit will be refunded to you once you return the kettle. The hotel arranges a baby-cot free of charge. Last year our baby-boy was almost 7 months old, but I no longer sterilized his bottles - I did it up until 5 months. However, if you are too bothered, you can always use the boiling water from the kettle to get the bottles 'sterilized'. As far as I know there are some cold sterilizing means/liquids which could be used instead as well (you can google it). Hope it is helpful! Enjoy your stay at Alea hotel and suites!

Is there any tavernas and shops within walking distance. Do the ferries run regularly and how long is the crossing.
Yes. There are taverns in Skala Prinou, near hotel. At a 5 -7 min walking distance on the beach. There are ferries from Skala Prinou and Thassos (city).

We went with Thomas cook they offered a tour of the island - we walked around the old streets went to a monestary and olive Press and visited a lovely beach for lunch - well worth the small amount it cost with a guide and air conditioned coach
