We stayed at the Park House for the Tour de France weekend and throughly enjoyed our stay. The room we had which I think was number 2 was very spacious with a huge bathroom, tea making equipment was fantastic as there was a little fridge on the landing with fresh milk. Its a nice walk through alongside the river to... More

An excellent B&B with friendly and interesting hosts who are willing to chat but not intrusive. Upon arrival you are offered complimentary tea and cake in their tea rooms, a lovely touch after a busy day walking. Our rooms were immaculate and pristine, the furnishings are excellent, and all the little extra finishing touches show that there is no expense... More

We have just enjoyed a three night stay in this tip top,"It's more than just a B and B" Park House. Fabulous stylish bedrooms, no expense spared, and that includes a comfy guest lounge. Great choice of excellent, home cooked foods at breakfast. A tea room next door and free range of an abbey and grounds just across the road.... More

Your hosts are extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The setting could not be more beautiful: across from pasture land with sheeop, cows, and the ruins of Jervaulx Abbey. Tea rooms are located next door with excellent food. There are beautiful accommodations, a wonderful sitting area stocked with interesting books, and a jacuzzi tub to die for. It's only a couple of... More

A couple of nights B&B in the absolute glories of the Yorkshire Dales. The couple who own tis place also own the ancient Cistercian monastery opposite Park House. They have given considerable attention to fine-tuned detail throughout this delightful Yorkstone property. Thick towels, new beds and bedding, Colourschemes are gentle but thoughtful. Lots of sturdy new coathangers, spotlighting, tissues in... More

Visited Park House recently with family from the USA. On arrival we were welcomed by Ian who, after showing us to our rooms, kindly provided us with tea and cake.
