A lovely little inn with bags of character, cosy rooms and excellent food. The food was cooked to order by the owners but is of restaurant quality. Enjoyed the lounge area. Great location for any activities in the brecon beacons.

Well, what can I say! What a fantastic place. I booked on a whim when booking up a Wales road trip for a group of us, I'm so glad I did. We were running a bit late and the Inn kindly phoned us, to let us know that we could still get dinner when we arrived after checking In. A...

Our stay here was just for one night, sadly, but it proved to be an excellent overnight stop. As the name suggests, this is a former coaching in so oozes character and old world charm. That's not to say that the facilities are nineteenth century though - the room was comfortable and well appointed with all the usual facilities which...

We had one overnight stay to visit Hay on Wye. Everything about the hotel from the warm welcome on our arrival to our departure the following day after an exceptional breakfast was faultless. It was part of a joint birthday visit to the area and we obviously made the perfect choice for a place to stay. The room was immaculate,...

Marvelous pepper & sweet potato soup, wild mushroom pancakes and flavored cheddar soup - great meal! My wife's free range chicken was equally good. The inn is from the 1400s with beautiful flowers. Roy is super-welcoming, as was the server, Jessica.

Stayed in this fantastic hotel recently, we received a very friendly and warm welcome. The place is immaculate, cleaned to a very high standard. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated. The restaurant was lovely, food very well presented and delicious. Would definitely return and recommend to friends. Had a fantastic weekend here .

...you'll get it by the bucketload at the Three Cocks. The building is an old coaching inn which has been very well done up. The rooms are a bit quirky perhaps, but very comfortable. There are no TVs in the rooms, though there is a guest lounge with a large flat screen. There is wifi throughout though if you feel...

Absolutely loved the experience! The owners were so welcoming, the garden was great to have our cocktails before supper. The food was delicious and of generous size. I loved that we didn't have to pay for anything till the absolute end, they knew what we consumed and gave us just one bill at the end. The building itself has a...

This was our fourth stay at The Three Cocks. Each time has been a wonderful experience. The hotel is well run and beautifully cared for. Rooms are clean and quaint and the facilities are modern. Breakfast (not my favourite meal of the day) is freshly prepared and the choice is excellent. We are regular visitors to the Hay Festival and...

The Three Cocks was the ideal place to stay for our 3 day visit to the festival. Roy and Judith were the consummate hosts, welcoming , charming friendly and extremely tolerant of 4 ladies from Hampshire who are not the quietest of people having been friends for over 30 years!! The rooms were clean and welcoming, bathrooms great and breakfast...
