The hotel has a Victorian style façade which is quite nice. The rooms were also themed that way, they were alright if not for the heavy curtains which smelled like your grandmother’s chest and high aircons. But It heightened my disappointment when I requested them to remove the curtains above the bed because they triggered my allergic rhinitis. I told...

Several of my family were checked in in this hotel so we decided to just stay there too. The only positive thing I can say is that the kids had a fun time swimming. Their bathroon... which by the way is about the size of their rooms are falling apart. I baught ice cream from Their little store by the...

We were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff, the very accommodating owner, and hundreds of paintings as we enter the halls of the hotel. We were served complimentary drinks which eased our 12 hour drive from Manila. Rooms, named after European cities, are very neat and well-maintained. You sure could channel you're inner Napoleon Bonaparte as the rooms have canopies...

We stayed at the resort and enjoyed the water park for our New Years day event. Always a well kept place and things you need are attainable either on the premises or very nearby. Highly Recommend Highlander Resort. There is a Highlander Hotel, but you really want the resort. The furnishings are kind of regal and opulent chic. Not something...

Place looks eerie outside but it's rooms are comfy. The bed is set in a Victorian setting which makes you feel like your sleeping in a Mansion. But the furnitures are not complementing the ambiance. Anyway, place is clean and cool and good wifi facility.

There is a new Highlander hotel in Solano just up the road from this Highlander Hotel which is in Bayombong. I suspect from the logos etc they are both owned by the same family/ person/ group. THIS IS THE OLDER HOTEL. The staff were friendly and the rooms were pleasant if a little tired. The TVs are old but work...

There are two Highlander hotels in Solano, one around 5km before the city, coming from Manila and one just after passing through the city northbound. This is the Highlander Hotel & Resort, north of the city. This hotel must have been a wonderful place to stay - many years ago. If you like philippine baroque style or not is up...

...and you're looking for lodging, there aren't a lot of hotel options. Well, there are choices, but come on - if you've traveled through Luzon, you get it. The Highlander Hotel is actually alright. The hotel is a clean and comfortable place to eat, sleep and freshen up at. It is basic and appropriate to its surroundings but most importantly,...
