Located in beautiful northern Bali, this heavenly little seaside resort is the perfect location for a relaxing vacation. Tastefully furnished and decorated, the resort is spotless, the rooms very comfortable, the surroundings magnificent, and the food is absolutely scrumptious. The owners, Nicole and Jochen, are thoughtful and gracious, their staff professional, friendly and efficient. I soon had the feeling that...

Cili Emas is a delightful resort on the quiet north coast of Bali at Tejakula. I found it friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and very clean. Everything there speaks of quality: the rooms, the furnishings, the great food, the gardens, the pool, spa – all have a warm, personal touch. It is the feeling of being part of a family that impressed...

Location: Hidden underneath palmtrees at the black beaches of northern bali, behind the colorful boots of the fishermen, two hardly visibly doors in a stone wall lead to the little resort in the middle of a tropical paradise. No signpost to show you the way. It´s a place to live in harmony with nature and community, no place for the...

After the hustle and bustle of Ubud we drove ourselves out to this hidden gem on the coast, hidden it was too as we had to have the help of some local teenagers on their motor bike to lead us there, but what a find! This is the real Bali, serene, gracious and very welcoming. Our room was delightful, complete...

We have been to Bali many times and have always stayed in the Ubud area. This time we decided to venture north and discovered Cili Emas...can you say love at first sight!! Cili Emas is truly unique for many reasons... It was originally built as an artist retreat by one of Bali's most famous painters to house bourgeoning artists...so its...

If you're looking for profound serenity in a sublime, seaside location, unpack your bag and settle into Cili Emas. The gracious and imaginative owners, Nicole and Jochen, have applied their refined aesthetic with traditional Balinese craftsmanship to imaginatively restore a magical compound that was once the home of an artist. They have added a lovely swimming pool -- long enough...

Cili Emas was the perfect place for me upon landing in Bali! Their personable Balinese driver met me at the airport for a seamless entrance into the country, and the staff brought the island's graciousness close in on a daily basis. It was so restful and reviving after the long journey. Located right on the shores of the north coast,...

If you are looking for a place which is small, peaceful, away from mass tourism in Bali, then Cili Emas is the perfect place. We stayed there for 5 nights with our children (5 and 1 year old) and enjoyed the days. The bungalow is lovely, and we had enough place for all of us. Meal time were always a...

8 rooms at 10 meters from blue sea waters and fish boats. A wonderful swimming pool and massage service. All we may desire for well being and relaxation. This german couple (Jochen and Nicole aka Putu) decided to land in Tejakula on this extreme north of Bali island 4 years ago and to create "their" paradise. They have this unique...

I was invited for a weeding party of a friend of mine in this resort. Most of the tourist go to southern Bali, but place is a nice hideaway in the north of the Island. The accommodation is all very new , and the German owners, Jochen and Nicole, are doing their utmost best for their guests. The food we...
