Really a motel rather than a hotel. Rooms were OK and beds comfy. Sleep very disturbed by all night traffic on the Interstate 50 which is only a few yards away. Lifts provided which is helpful for the upper floor rooms. Can't imagine anybody staying here for more than one night. OK if you bring ear plugs I suppose.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, quiet and very comfortable. And the location can't be beat - it's just a quick walk to the lake. And there are grocery stores, specialty shops and plenty of restaurants within a few blocks.

We stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary and had a great time. It was very clean, affordable nightly pet fee, and really nice touches like having a sink outside the bathroom, coffee and tea in the room, and more. The hot tub and pool were very clean and nice. The location was perfect! Lake view from the room, walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner…and ice cream! Plus could walk along the lake easily as it was directly across the street. It also has lots of grassy areas for pet relief.

I have stayed here before and it seemed fine. This time I noticed how run down it appears. I spilled some water on the carpet and wiped it up with a white washcloth. I was disgusted, with just blotting, the washcloth was filthy-black with dirt. This was at the end of my stay and to think I was walking on the floor with bare feet. It appears they have redone the bathrooms but the carpet is filthy and unsanitary. I have tried contacting the property twice by e-mail and have received no response.

The best thing about this hotel is the location - Lake Tahoe is across the street with access to a small public beach close by. The location is just okay - right on (busy during the day) South Lake Tahoe Blvd. so access to other beaches, marinas, restaurants, etc. is easy. The hotel is so-so, if that. We stayed in the separate building closer to the road with a balcony that had a very partial view of the Lake and a "great" view of the registration office (one of the hotel staff there made the comment, "oh, yes, we see you out there!" made in a positive way, I'm sure). The room (one queen) was very small with little space to put anything. The room itself was dated and a little musty. Even the coffee-maker was an old drip (awful coffee). We did sit on the balcony, despite the view. It, too, seemed "beat up" and tired. There are no particular amenities, such as complimentary breakfast. Yes, there is a pool. …

We were in room 153. Unfortunately we found bed bugs in our bed and the hot tub was not functional. Plus the heated pool was ice cold. Just a bad overall experience. I really feel the hotel is being ignored — it has great location potential if the details were tightened up.

Haven't even stayed yet, but the booking person messed up our reservations. We never received an initial confirmation and when I called the had us booked incorrectly. They blamed their mistake on us, cut the conversation short and hung up on me...

I woke up to a roach crawling on me at 11:11pm and when I went for a reimbursement or some roach spray the front desk didn’t believe me so I killed one and will upload so they can believe me now. Then to add insult to injury their wifi doesn’t work so having to hotspot! But the views are great.

Really large one-bedroom suite and good floor plan. Kitchen was really good with all the required stuff. View from the room is slightly obstructed due to the road opposite room balcony, but can't complain. It was still a good view except the traffic noise. We had some challenges with our room AC like other travellers as I read other reviews too. So not sure why AC is a problem for all travellers in this hotel, but it was fixed on the next day morning. Overall, we had a good stay but still a few small things still make me rate it 4/5.

I searched for weeks and I am so very glad I picked here. We requested a room ON LAKE TAHOE and couldn’t be happier with our choice. We had our own balcony overlooking the magnificent Lake Tahoe. No problems with any of our stay. The welcoming people in the office were very helpful and so friendly. There are 99 rooms in this little resort and it is a great place to stay.
