I realize it is an Econo Lodge but for some reason, I thought with the location and it being Tahoe that the room would be nicer. I guess that was wishful thinking. Expect a basic motel room. Period. The pluses are the location not far from the Raley's shopping center and the amenities: free breakfast, free wi-fi, free parking and...

Any maintenance issue would have been responded to immediately if the front desk had been notified. Since your stay with us, all rooms have been updated with new flat screen TVs. Stayed 3 nights over a holiday weekend as a family of 4. It is basic budget accommodation which we were fine with. The Saturday night was clearly the busiest as all night we could hear car doors and doors slamming. The walls are pretty thin. We could hear the occupants upstairs and were happy they had checked out by the...

Tons of snow covered the parking lot and pool.. the room had an awesome heater that kept the whole room too warm!! The bed was comfy, however the shower was very small, and the towels were just as small.. I'm not a large human, tall, but not wide and the towel barely fit around my waist. As we laughed he...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us. Yes we had way too much snow, even too much for ski resorts at one point. I'm glad the heater kept you warm during your stay. Happy we were able to accommodate you. Looking forward to seeing you again on your return visit.

I booked this room as other chain hotels were sold out and I had a free night with Choice hotels. Had I paid for this room I would've been completely disappointed. I didn't expect much from a budget hotel but this was bad. The shower was either scalding hot or cold, the floor had a wet spot on the carpet...

I have stayed here before when it was a Quality Inn. It is an old 2-story motel with exterior hallways that extends back from US 50. It is fairly close to Stateline and the casinos but it is a bit of a walk. The interior decor is pretty standard Econolodge but it was just fine. My room had rather plain...

Friendly Staff, Comfortable room and a nice price. Hotel is still within walking distance of shops, casinos and gondola. (although it is a little bit of a walk it's not bad). Free breakfast was nothing special (but hey it's free).

Have stayed here many times in the last 6 months while remodeling my rental house. The rooms are clean, beds are firm and plenty of parking. The rooms are further from the street so the road noise is minimal. There is a lounge with couch, chairs. Fireplace and tv. Continental breakfast in the mornings.

We decided to come up to Lake Tahoe last minute and were not even planning to stay the night. We decided to stay at the Econo Lodge for the great rate of $40. it was for one queen bed. The room was small as per the description and there was only a shower stall--no bath tub, but overall a nice...

South shore is pretty run down these days and this place is no exception. A 1960's-era motel with thin walls, threadbare carpets, small bathrooms and hard beds. And a TV straight from the Johnson administration. My 7 year-old was like "what is that?" She'd never seen a CRT before. The "free" breakfast was a plate of stale pastries. They advertised...

Great place to stay! Comfortable, reliable, friendly staff and great location. Also, the heavenly ski bus stopped right in front of the hotel and it was free. The front desk ladies were very nice and answered all of our questions, and even gave us great dinner recommendations. We had a great time and will definitely stay at this hotel again!
