My mom and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was alright. They accepted our service dog which was good. The bed was nice and comfortable. Shower was good. The curtain smelled like mildew though.
We didn't get any cell service in our room like...More
Room was great #125. Gary checked us in was very friendly. The pool looked great but we did not swim. The staff was very nice & when we called the front desk they delivered an extra towel for me. Great stay.
Got stuck in road from avalanche and couldn't go any further for 2 days. Luckily loving GF secured 1 of last rooms available from the quickly dwindling supply of hotels being scooped up by other stranded drivers. She gave them my name and they allowed...More
This place is awful. The rooms were never made and there were dried pee stains on the toilet seat. I'm surprised I didn't catch any diseases by sleeping in my bed each night. Whoever the 'manager' of this place is should be fired and immediately...More

Going anti-clockwise round the lake on Highway 50 onto Highway 89 via Camp Richardson and Emerald Bay takes less than 30 minutes. In winter that is an issue as near Emerald Bay it shuts frequently for avalanche control clearance but in summer should be fine. Going clockwise round the lake Highway 50 onto Highway 28 via Incline Village and Tahoe City takes 55 minutes. On approach to Emerald Bay there are sharp hairpin climbing bends with no barriers in places so don't go too crazy speed wise. Have fun there and don't spend too much in the casinos.
