Room wasn’t very clean. Also I question if sheets are clean. The pillow cases and pillows were yellowed. Least they can do is have clean pillows when you charge $200 for a cheap rate. Hair and dirt all over floor. I used a Clorox wipe and sprayed our pillows with sanitizer.

We stayed here last year and this year as well for a couple of days. Amazing location, right across the street from Heavenly Gondola. There’s a ski rental place right next to the hotel. Best value for your $, if you are traveling on a budget. The rooms are clean and the staff is nice and helpful. See you next year!!

The motel is conveniently located close to the gondola and many restaurants. The building itself feels a bit old, but the room was clean and had everything you need if you just want to use it to sleep. The two armchairs in our room were very nice. We were surprised to find a microwave in our room which was not shown on the listing. I was impressed how well the parking lot was cleared of all the huge amount of snow that had fallen shortly before our stay.

You can’t beat the price for this motel, located right across from Heavenly ski resort and walkable to everything downtown, including the casinos. Check-in was easy and I appreciated the first floor room since we brought our dog. The reasons for the 3 stars was that, while the bed was comfy and clean, the bathroom towels had stains on them and the shower was a pain - they gave us a handicap room on the first floor since we had a dog, Cheapest package so the shower head was a bit awkward to deal with and the floor was dirty. The toiletries were super cheap iin packets and barely enough for two people. In addition, they charged an extra $30 pet fee, which seemed high compared to what other motels in the area charge, and especially since pets were not allowed on the bed. The plus is that there is a small pet relief station across the street with doggy bags and trash cans. In all, you get what you pay for and if you want to be able to walk to everything in downtown South Lake Tahoe, this motel is a great choice if you don’t mind a few issues. …

While this place looked decent on the outside, the room my mom and I were given (#30) had bedbugs. We had to immediately go back home to Reno to avoid any infestation of our belongings. It was so disappointing because we were in town for a convention and had to cancel.

The good: it is one minute to main street and maybe 5 minutes to the casinos. The bad: I could not understand the poor lady at the counter. It took 5 times to understand "do you have a dog." 2) the washcloths and bath towels were either severely stained or were worn to shreds. I complained and when she brought new ones I asked her if she looked at the towels first. No answer. 3) old and run down.

The outside has been given some love with a new paint job and ripped up the old nasty carpet on walkways . The doors have been upgraded . The room carpet upgraded . The bath room no upgrade . The microwave was old school . The TV had no HD channels and no movie channels . The location is great for Heavenly village . Breakfast weak not really breakfast . The bed was comfortable. The bedding was stained and old - needs upgraded.
