The innate courtesy and hospitality of its owners, the unparalleled natural environment and the very clean, comfortable, and elegantly decorated spaces make us visit Vateri over and over again. A family business, simple and unpretentious but at the same time providing such quality services, that, meeting the President of the Hellenic Republic himself in a brief visit in the area...

Ok, this is an amazing place to stay if you have a car. Vateri is up on the hills, overlooking the sea and the mountain at the same time, majestic, beautiful. The hosts, Kir Giannis Bloukidis and his lovely family, offered us a special and unique experience. We had a very big and beautiful apartment with a livingroom, bathroom and...

Well situated at a hillside 2-3 kms outside Limni village with a great view to the sea and the opposite standing hills. Quite spacious rooms of average interior and furniture. Mattresses of "less than basic" quality, and heavy used blankets instead of quilts. Large bright breakfast room. Quite tasty, home made, breakfast options if you prefer sweet breakfast snacks. Basic...

I arrived at this delightful hillside guest house with a busload of people. We are all swiftly accommodated and then we gathered on the terrace to relax and enjoy the flowers and potted plants and well-kept garden. (And be entertained by a sweet little kitten cavorting around its mama.) The owner treated us to a glass of his special red...

The family-run Vateri inn near Limni in Evia is a special place. The hospitality is exceptional--the Bloukides family--brother and sister team, Yiorgos and Amalia, and their parents Kate and Yiannis-- goes out of their way to make you feel at home. They are the soul of this lovely inn. Every little detail here from the bundles of dried herbs scattered...
