A group of four of us enjoyed spending three nights with Sarah in early august to visit the Loire valley - a perfect location to explore the area! We were warmly welcomed and Sarah is a very attentive host. Each room is different, tastefully decorated with comfy beds. Breakfast is delicious with homemade bread and jam. Dinner was just excellent... More

This is lovely place to stay with beautifully designed rooms and excellent food. The bakery that is now the dining hall is charming and we all enjoyed our home cooked meal in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Sarah is clearly very talented and creates a wonderful atmosphere.

Seven friends and I stayed at Le Chaton Rouge for a few days during Le Mans Classic and it was a lovely haven of peace, fresh coffee, great breakfasts, good space and top French cuisine. Sarah is a very knowlegeable and helpful owner and hostess who suggested the nearby Hotel de France (great evening and some good restaurants) and also... More

A group of six of us all had the most fabulous time when we booked all six rooms to stay at Le Chaton Rouge for the duration (4 days & nights) of the biannual Le Mans Classic. Set in the stunning Loir valley just 20 minutes from the Le Mans track we had the most fabulous time. Sarah who owns... More

Although this is listed as a B&B. the level of service and the caring nature that Sarah shows towards her guests is five star and more. We stayed for the recent Le Mans 24hr races and Sarah could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. This went from organising transport to and from the event at the last... More

We were lucky enough to be visiting family in the area and attended the first Pop-Up restaurant event. What a treat from start to finish. You can not help but be impressed by Sarah's attention to detail from the moment you walk through the door. It runs through the decor, ambience, menu, food quality and customer service. Fantastic little touches... More

Sarah has teamed up with Fanny (chef from Hotel Citadel, La Belle Ile) organising various 'events' in her pop up restaurant in the courtyard dining room during December. This was our second visit. Again superb food and attentive service in a characterful beautifully restored 'dependence' in her courtyard. The 'moules' were large and succulent in Fanny's special sauce, served with... More

We had dinner here last night, as a special get together with my daughter and her husband on my birthday. Absolutely faultless. I'm not a fish eater but Sarah sorted out an alternative starter for us which we all said was excellent, so tasty. The main course, duck with an oriental flavour, with a medley of vegetables, was so soft... More

My wife & I recently spent 3 nights here & loved it. Lovely rooms, a nice laid back feel to the place, beautifully served food & very pleasant staff who we found very helpful whenever approached. This was a bit of a last minute booking but it was absolutely top drawer & we are already planning another stay in 2016.... More

We stayed here for one night on two occasions, using it as a stopover on our way to and from the south of France. It's a great place! It's a lovely old house in a small village, pretty easy to get to from the main motorway between Le Mans and Tours. The rooms are capacious and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was... More
