First class B&B, friendly and helpful hosts. Food & rooms excellent. Carol went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our overnight stay. We were on motorcycles and these were parked in their barn overnight, which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this B&B - even a lovely pub right next door for evening meals! Thank you Carol - we had a lovely stay. If you’re looking for a room in this area book here!

This was a lovely pop up camp site in a farmers field. Complete with toilets and water stand, with a field of curious cows next door was a perfect way to spend a quiet (ish) night in our campervan with our friends joining us for the evening. The clouds and occasional spots of rain. There were 5 other like minded campervans/camping families also enjoying the peace and quiet and views. Just a shame that this is not available all year round, just 28 days a year under current licence. Could just do with hot water in the toilet facilities but next time will just boil the kettle!

A lovely place to stay, quite simply. Kilburn itself is a quiet, traditional village in the North York Moors. Church Farm BnB, for me, offered a spacious room, a great breakfast, a warm welcome and a beautiful location. Lawns outside to side on; car parking super.

Stayed here overnight while the Cleveland Way. Carol was a lovely host - friendly, helpful, the room was comfortable with the full Yorkshire breakfast being lovely. Dave was also very friendly and drove us to our start point the next morning. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This place is a gem of a find...lovely comfortable room and Carol is a fab host, even taking us to and from the restaurant we had booked. Worth every penny! Breakfast was amazing! Would love to come back with our daughter and explore the local area a bit. Highly recommend! Thanks again Carol!

I'm not even sure how I managed to find this place on the internet, but I did, and we stayed there just one night. It's a working dairy farm, and guests stay in the house with the family. Their bedroom was right opposite ours, which we didn't mind, but some people might. The room was very clean, with an ensuite private showerroom. Very simply decorated, with a kettle and teacups (great on a cold night!) and right next door to the only restaurant/pub in the village. Carol and her husband were lovely hosts, very friendly and very helpful with directions and ideas of things to do.
We took a taxi to get from Thirsk to Kilburn, so a car would have been better, but the snow was so bad, we decided not to risk driving ourselves, being unfamiliar with the roads. Dave, with ComfyCabs was great, very informative and very helpful, it was a good visit and we would go back again - but in the summer when it's warmer!

We stayed here for one night on our way to Scotland. We arrived in driving rain and were welcomed up to a comfortable en-suite room with generous provision of tea , coffee and biscuits. The beds were comfortable but the shower was a little small . Carol was very helpful. Our breakfast the next day was generous and well cooked, with plenty of fresh coffee and fruit as well as the full English. We will definitely stay again

Just got back from a 3 night stay. A very welcoming, relaxed and peaceful atmosphere- Carol is lovely to talk to. Kilburn village is very picturesque and a great base for exploring the local area. Room was very clean and tidy with good facilities, and a lovely fresh breakfast in the morning. Good value for money and would definitely go back again.

My wife, grown up sons and girlfriend had booked to stay at Church Farm, first night stopover enroute re their "Cleveland Way" walking trip. I had not intended to stay overnight with them but the weather was so good that day, late on I decided to join them if Church Farm could fit me in. The host and family were exceptionally friendly and accomodating, I stayed overnight allowing me to relax and eat at the nearby Foresters Arms with my family. The B&B was clean tidy and spacious, breakfast was excellent. Myself and family would not hesitate to recommend or stay at Church Farm again in the future.

Very well situated close to the Forrester's Arms this is a lovely B&B, nice large rooms, a good breakfast and a packed lunch to see us through our next days walk. The owners have been doing this for 30 years so are very experienced.
