Went for a walk in Wales then stopped here for a lunch on the way home. Had the lamb roast x3 and a beef roast. Gluten intolerance was well catered for, extremely generous portions, tasty, beautiful scenery and lovely service.

We were in room 1 which has gorgeous views over the Usk, the canal and Brecon Beacons. Following some gale damage the room had been replastered but they appear to have forgotten to replace towel rails, coat hooks and shelves in the bathroom. So expect to store your clothes and towels on the floor. The shower cubicle is the smallest...

A lovely Sunday lunch food very good, service very friendly,a nice cosy little country inn we have eaten here a few times now and the food is always very good can't wait to return. The Christmas beer was excellent. It's best to book in advance as it is very popular with tourists and locals

Excellent value for money, very friendly staff, clean well appointed room. Well located for both Brecon and the surrounding area. We didn't have dinner as we ate at the wedding but the Welsh Breakfast was good and the pub meals menu looked appetising.

We stayed here on Saturday night after our friends wedding in Peterstone Court (it could not be any closer that if you stayed at Peterstone Court itself). In fact, the owner even gave us a lift to Peterstone court so we didnt have to walk the short distance in the rain or get a taxi! Our room was clean, tidy...

We were here last week for Sunday lunch. We have a fussy eater , who did not want a child's Sunday roast. The waitress was very accommodating and provided him with two small sausages and two roast potatoes .however, it wasn't until we got home that we had been charged £4.95 for the above, far too much by anyone's standards!...

Thank you for your kind review ,there must have been a misunderstanding about the child meal as we do offer children who won't eat roast meats an option of sausage with mash, roast or new potatoes .There is also a large dish of 5 fresh vegetables sent with all our dinners but we were not aware your child didn't want...

Small Inn on the main A40 between Brecon and Abergavenny in the middle of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Great views on the mountains from the beer garden and some of the rooms. The rooms are quite small but have en-suite facilities and are clean. The mattress in room 1 was very creaky getting in and out but otherwise fine....

Stayed at The Old Ford Inn for walking in the Brecons, Lovely clean, comfortable place to stay with friendly staff, and customers. Breakfast was just what we wanted either full Welsh or something a little lighter, we always went for the full works!

Stopped here with my Mother after horse riding in August and the view was fantastic! The food was superb and the staff were very friendly and efficient. I visit this area a lot, and will definitely be making a return should I get the opportunity!
