My family and I recently stayed at the Wettstone Guest Ranch. We found the family owners very welcoming and friendly. The surroundings were gorgeous. My children loved their kids riding experience with Valaurie - she was excellent with the kids and the horse (Magic) was so obviously happy and well taken care of. It was a lovely experience overall.

We had a fabulous stay in the Trappers cabin in a great location by the lake. No electricity or water just a great feeling of being out in the country and getting back to basics, luxury cabin basics that is with log stove, good comfy bed and equipment for open fire cooking outside. Had free use of the canoes to go see the Beavers up the lake. The ranch owning family are really wonderful and well recommend the horse riding they run from the ranch, took me and my wife, both novices on great trail straight out of the ranch and really looked after us. Had breakfast at the main ranch and that was also excellent. Only thing would recommend as needing is mosquito spray, but that's true of anywhere near lakes in summer.

I guess everything has already been said in previous reviews, and I can only fully subscribe it. Lovely place, so quiet that you can ever hear the wind going through the leaves, I want to live forever in a place like this. I've never slept facing a lake and having the moon looking after me at night. A dream come true. Kayaks, canoes, horseback riding...And the Thursday BBQ is a good chance not only for meeting other guests and the owners but also to get in touch with the local community. Thanks for this unforgettable experience! If I could, I wouldn't give 5 but 6 stars to this place. Like our daughter said...one day we have to come back, and we surely will.

We had a lovely visit to the Bridge Lake area and to the Wettstone Ranch. The family run Ranch makes you feel right at home. I loved the free roaming horses, our 2 trail rides and breakfasts were all super nice. Hope to return soon.

I spent one week in a very comfortable Ranch House room, complete with my own bathroom and a shared kitchen. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts were definitely 5 star. It's a very peaceful and relaxing environment, especially sitting by the outdoor fire. The horses are wonderful to watch and managed by very experienced horse women. I highly recommend this Ranch for all ages.
