The Sun has become my new local since moving several months ago to the village. It has a lovely interior, spacious bar, restaurant area or sofas and armchairs for comfy seating. I've only eaten lunch here but every time the food has been brilliant. The staff are so friendly and it's a fab family pub too.

Pub quiet on a Saturday night and seemed in a hurry to clear plates etc! Fish cooked perfectly. Butternut squash soup turned out to be 90% cream. I mentioned that it was too much cream for me (not told it was cream of soup!) and the waitress just laughed! Chicken in chicken burger was dry grissly and burnt. Hope it...

When in the area on business my 'go to' resting place is The Sun Inn. Could it be the people, the food, the beer the bed or the ambience? I would suggest it is all of them. I have never had a bad meal or a bad 'pint'. I tend to leave earlier than most people so miss breakfast. On...

We stayed at the sun inn this weekend whilst visiting the Cotswold. We are a family of 4, our children are 4 and 9. We were really pleased with the b&b, the family room was very quiet with plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable which gave us all a good nights sleep, the bathroom clean and modern. The...

Good service but not a huge choice of food on menu, but food was quite tasty. Lovely little village. Not a good selection for gluten free, but nice selection of wines and beer on offer. Friendly helpful staff were very happy to help!

This is a charming old inn just off the tourist route of the cotswolds - chipping norton is just 6 miles away. The main bar area seemed a bit spartan and the back yard and garden area rather neglected but this was more than amply compensated by the excellent local brew- try the rich strong full bodied old hooky if...

The Sun Inn is a really lovely hotel. The rooms are of a good size, clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are lovely and the shower was amazing! All the staff were extremely helpful, booking a taxi for us when needed and were really friendly. The breakfast was delicious, with a good, varied menu. As the rooms are...
