We stayed here one night and were amazed at the location and the views! Although the rooms are dated, they were clean and spacious. Each room has their own ocean front balcony and it so peaceful. The restaurant has enough variety to satisfy most road weary traveler. The shower had great water pressure and the restaurant opens at 5:00am so you can get an early start to wherever the road takes you. None of us spoke much French, but they made us feel welcomed and didn't hesitate to speak English with us. All of the employees went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable.

This motel offers two types of building: a main building, and smaller cabins down by the river. The main building has Wi-Fi, the cabins do not.

The main building is an older building that has been fully renovated and modernized, but there is no soundproofing between the rooms and you can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms on either side. Hence I suggest you stay in one of the cabins by the river, not in the main building.

No night-latches on the door (the maid walked in without knocking while I was sleeping), otherwise fully satisfactory. Inexpensive - $68 a night plus taxes ($80 gross).

We can see that the options in the area are rather limited, so it's still nice to find this restaurant. However, given its location, one would have hoped for a more limited menu, highlighting local or seasonal dishes. Unfortunately, the variety of dishes offered is a bit confusing, and the quality is not up to our expectations. Rarely have we tasted lobster that looked so much like chicken, accompanied by coleslaw served in a small plastic container... not very glorious nor very environmentally friendly. The rest of the dishes also seemed to lack freshness and homemade. In conclusion, it seems better to travel a little further distance to find a better option.
