We took a chance and booked into the Karoo Inn after a very long day in the car. The outside looked a little dodgy but my goodness the room turned out to be a little bit of paradise - and it was huge too.

Quaint and very old fashioned. We stopped for coffee and were surprised by the lack of change since the....say fifties ? Coffee was horrible. The service was OK. We understand the rooms are booked out but it can't be the gastonomical pull that does it.
