At the conveniently located Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport, guests can get to and from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in less than 15 minutes using our complimentary airport shuttle. After arriving at the airport, retrieve your luggage and then call the hotel for pick-up using one of the complimentary phones at the Domestic and International Terminal Pick-up area provided by the airport. During your stay, walk across the street to the Aberdeen Station on the Canada Line for SkyTrain service to downtown Vancouver in about 20 minutes.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The hotel’s location near the airport was very convenient, and despite arriving late, check-in was a breeze. It had most of what we needed, and the complimentary airport shuttle was a nice touch. However, the place could benefit from some modernization and extra cleaning, as we noticed minor spots on the bedsheets. With these improvements, it could be a decent hotel.

I found myself staying at the Radisson for business. It was my first time at this property in twelve years. In many ways, it was nice to return and address past memories – to stay here without some weight over one’s shoulders. I guess you could say it was almost liberating. Before I get to the current day, I’ll preface this review with a brief story:
In the lead up to the Holiday season of 2012, my former partner and I decided to switch things up and stay somewhere “fancy” for our brief getaway. We chose the Radisson YVR and selected a King Bed Suite w/ a “wet bar.” The room was nice, but imagine our surprise to learn that by “wet bar” they literally just meant a sink (we’d assumed it meant a mini bar in the room, but a call to the front desk clarified this). Misunderstanding about the meaning of “wet bar” aside, the stay was shaping up nicely. The room was cozy, we had a delightful meal at The Boathouse, and rang in the New Year with some light gambling at the River Rock. Just two days into our getaway, though, we got some pretty terrible family news and had to cut our stay short. They say time heals all wounds, but I can’t help but feel at least a little glum writing this reflective piece. But on to the current day.
As noted above, I returned to the Radisson YVR 12 years later as part of a business excursion. The conference was being held right in the hotel, which made it doubly convenient. By happy coincidence, I was booked in the same type of room as 12 years earlier, though any mention of a “wet bar” had been scrubbed (probably for the better). It was nice to be back: The room was well appointed; the living room portion of the room was comfortable – really appreciated the work desk; and it was quiet despite relative proximity to YVR. I also appreciated the 24-hour snack shop in the lobby. I made use of it a few times to grab light snacks and beverages.
Outside of the room and facilities, I appreciated the Radisson’s central location in Richmond. You’re just 2 minutes away from the CanadaLine, which gives easy access to YVR and the Greater Vancouver Area. Thus, if you want a reprieve from the ridiculous rates hotels tend to charge in downtown Vancouver, the Radisson makes for a fine and fair option.
At day’s end, I enjoyed my stay this time around; I was able to properly enjoy the space and take some leisure moments after the conference had concluded each day (and, by the way, the catered breakfast was actually pretty good!). In short, I would gladly stay here again.

This was a great hotel! Clean, friendly, convenient and cheaper than staying closer in to DT. We were there to tour UBC and see the city. Skytrain station is across the street and very handy to head DT. Aberdeen Centre is across the street (excellent food in food court, the most amazing smoothie booth) and many near by restaurants. We even went to an escape room that was within walking distance and had an absolute blast! Our room rate included free parking (we had rented a car) and the breakfast buffet for 2 each morning. We took turns ordering off the menu as there were 3 of us. Ate dinner at the restaurant once and the food was a little tasteless, but we like our food flavourful and spicy and there are so many great restaurants near by and in the city we just went elsewhere. Very convenient to airport, major routes, skytrain and mall. Other reviews complained about the train noise (so we brought earplugs), but we could hardly hear it and our room was right across from the station.

We stayed in many hotels on this trip and this hotel had the most comfortable beds and pillows, we had the best sleep after our 15 hour flight to Vancouver. The location of the hotel is very close and there is a free shuttle but you have to pre-arrange your pickup as they are available 24/7 but only if you call to book ahead. If not, there is a phone at the airport to dial the hotel for free and let them know you have arrived. The hotel is located opposite a shopping mall so it is quick to walk across for lots of asian food restaurants and shops. There is a restaurant on site for both buffet and a la carte breakfast as well. I would stay here again!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and we are happy to read you had a great stay with us. Once clarification, if we may in regards to our Airport Shuttle, for pick-up on arrival it is on demand and we do ask guest to let us know when they have arrived and are ready for pick-up. Unfortunately, due to a variety of reason from flight delays, delays inside the airport and most of all, airport security, the shuttle is not allowed to wait for guests on arrival. Thank you for staying with us and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport on a future visit to the area. Sincerely, Garrett Ralston Front Office Manager

We enjoyed our 2 night stay with a young baby during an EnvCda heat warning. Nice pool & gym facilities - not fancy but clean 👍🏻. Included breakfast was good: fruits, dairy, cold cereal, nuts & seeds, pastries offered; hot table - scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage. Waffles or toast. Many thanks to Tom at front desk & to all staff!
We booked online thru directly thru hotel website. We missed the BC resident’s deal but the AAA/CAA deal we did get ($332.10/per night for a double Queen room) covered free surface parking, and the breakfast buffet for 2 each morning. The lobby bar was pleasant and staff were bar/wait staff very helpful preparing drinks for us to take to our room. Baby fold up play&pack delivered as pre-requested, free of charge.

Good for an overnight stay and the airport is 15 minutes away. We had a nice room with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. Service in the restaurant was good and one could eat a decent meal at a reasonable price. I had a pizza that was $20 and a continental breakfast that was also very good.
If you are going to the airport there is a shuttle service that leaves on the hour. If you are waiting for a pick up from the airport it will leave there at around 20 minutes past each hour so you might have a wait depending on the time you arrive

We were put up in this hotel for a night by Westjet when our flight was diverted from another airport to Vancouver. There is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back again. The bed was a bit stiff but not bad. The room was very clean. The head person in charge of the front desk belittled his new staff member in front of me which was very awkward. He also then bungled the room key and gave me the wrong floor number for the room we were assigned. We were given meal vouchers by Westjet to use at the hotel but the restaurant has limited hours and the menu has limited options which meant that we went elsewhere to eat. It was ok for a one night stay and considering we didn't pay for it, it was fine.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are happy to read you enjoyed your room and the airport shuttle services. We do apologize for the confusion at the Front Desk as we worked with Westjet on short notice for rooms for you. We are disappointed to learn you found the menus in the Mozza Restaurant to not be to your liking and limited. We hope we will have an opportunity to welcome you back on a planned trip so you may be able to experience the full hotel. Sincerely, Garrett Ralston Front Office Manager

Our flight was landing after midnight so we had to overnight at a hotel before catching a ferry home in the morning. I checked the price on Expedia as $154, but it said I would have to call the hotel to confirm a late check in availability. I was quoted the same price by the front desk as Expedia so I went ahead and booked only to discover after we checked in we were charged $204 (plus taxes and fees). I disputed the price but was told I was given the “rack rate”. Pricing aside, nobody ever gave me the info on how to book the shuttle which I was supposed to receive by email. When we landed and there was no email and no shuttle we had to pay $50 for a seven minute taxi ride. The window in our room didn’t seal properly so all night there was a constant draft of cold air and extremely loud noise of planes landing flying directly over the hotel. Nobody slept well, and as we were gathering our things early the next morning the housekeeper knocked on our door even though checkout is not until noon. If I had been a guest sleeping in I would have not been very happy. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, the prices at the restaurant are inflated and the hours are minimal.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we are happy to read you enjoyed your room, but equally disappointed to learn of the challenges you encountered. Please accept our apologies. After reviewing the reservation, I do see it was booked by the Radisson Worldwide Reservation team and as is a normal practice, they should be confirming all the details of the booking, including the rate that is being reserved. I am happy to look at this further for you and hopefully, you have a confirmation that is normally sent to the email address that is provided with the booking. It is challenging to know the Expedia rate that you were looking at, especially if you were seeing a rate that is for Expedia members. For pick-up at the airport, due to ever changing flight arrivals, we ask guests to call the hotel when they are ready for pick-up and we have a downloadable PDF document on our website with all the information on where the Hotel Shuttle pick-up locations are at YVR. We do hope you let us know about the seal of the window during your stay so we could try to do our best for you. Housekeeping will check for vacant rooms to clean and ready for the next guest by knocking, especially when there is not a Do Not Disturb sign displayed on the outside of the door. If you would like to discuss your stay further, please feel free to contact me here at the Hotel, I am happy to speak with you. Sincerely, Garrett Ralston Front Office Manager

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 25 years. It is in a convenient location near the Aberdeen station on Canada line and within walking distance of many great Chinese/Japanese restaurants. The hotel is old so the elevator is noisy and the closet door does not slide well. Other than that, I like the hotel now provides customer service by text and supplies two bottled water daily. I can also cast Netflix to the TV in my room. Additionally, the hotel granted me early check-in and late check-out. It just made my trip so much easier. Thank you and happy to come back again.

Due to Covid travel restrictions and bad weather, I stayed one night before and after my flight in and out of Vancouver. The Radisson was a perfect place to break the journey. I love that the hotel is non smoking, so there were no lingering odours. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. On my return flight I had extra baggage which was stored for me while I returned to the airport the next morning via courtesy shuttle to retrieve my car from the YVR long term parking. It was too much for me to manage on the night I arrived, so breaking the journey at the Radisson made things much more manageable and less stressful. Free wifi and a checkout time of 12 noon was perfect for getting breakfast, fitting in a work meeting and making the extra trip out to the airport. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast at Mozza - the server was helpful and kind. Thank you to everyone who made this experience such a good one for me at a difficult time!

I think you could book for whenever you want to leave whenever you want, but that seems like an odd time to book. You’d still be subject to paying for an entire night
