Never thought of this 3 star hotel would provide paper cups / disposable plastic spoons without even a proper utensils. Room cleaning provided ONLY upon request. Unhelpful reception, who only replied you with negative reply. Worst: lost CAD$1000 during the stay !!! This is the worst hotel that I have ever had in my life!
One of the cleanest, shiniest bathrooms we’ve seen in a while. Nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfy. Able to catch a shuttle to the airport in the early morning. Absolutely no complaints
Being robbed in the hotel room. All cash are gone. Hotel staffs are not helpful. No cctv or surveillance camera on the hallway or elevators. Police came and only made statement. Horrible experience. Over C$10000 we’re lost. DONT STAY HERE
I just came back from one night at the Four Points Sheraton. The check in was very basic. The rooms are pretty basic as well, everything you need for a one night stay. At 6am the fire alarm went off so everyone had to vacate the premises which is fine…..there was no communication as to why the alarm was going off, I had to talk to the fireman. It was from the kitchen and the smoke went down the hallway and set the alarm off. Once they found out what caused the alarm an announcement would of been nice, according to the sign on the elevator they can make announcement. That would of been better so people wouldn’t waste their time and effort. I was with my elderly mother so we had to go down 3 flights of stairs and go around the building to get back in. When we checked out in the morning, they’re was no mention to how our stay was or an apology for the fire alarm. On a positive note, the service in the restaurant was great. I ordered the continental breakfast and the lady made sure everything was packed up properly to take back up to the room. I don’t think I will stay here again.…
I’m feeling an idiot for booking a reservation with this hotel. We’ve had a flight in the afternoon and we’ve made a reservation at the hotel to stay at night. I’ve called the hotel and they informed to me that they offer a 24/7 shuttle service. This is not true!!! We’ve stayed over one hour waiting for the shuttle and it didn’t show up. We’ve tried to call the hotel during the entire period without success. We’ve took a taxi to the hotel and when we arrived the receptionist started to gave excuses for the cheating service!!! When we arrived at the room, it doesn’t have towels for all of us and the shower was dirt with mud. This is the worst experience we ever had with Marriot/Sheraton chain and I do not recommend this hotel to anybody.
I chose this hotel based on price and location to Vancouver International Airport. The low price was reflective of the experience at this hotel. The ice making machine is located at the end of the hallway, about 3 doors down from, 50 feet or 15 yards from my room. The machine is not enclosed in its own room. Well sure enough somebody used it at 1 am in the morning and I was woken up from a dead sleep. It took me an hour and a half to fall back asleep. The machine was so loud it sounded as if it was across the hall from my room on the 6th floor. When I mentioned this as a feedback complaint in the morning when checking out, the agent gaslighted me. He was surprised and made it sound like I was the only person in the 30 years of this hotels existence to make such a complaint. He smiled and gave me the empty line that he will check it out, as if personally he would. I was not offered much of an apology or any compensation in terms of either breakfast at the restaurant or money. My intelligence was insulted by him. Further, this hotel was a basic hotel without much in terms of amenities. The room was decent enough and the bed was comfy. However the free wifi was awful. It constantly kept disconnecting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as there are many more nicer ones in the area. The outside of the hotel looks like it is 20 years overdue for painting. You expect a good night's sleep and this hotel can't even deliver on that basic commitment.…
I am surprised this place is part of the Marriott chain because it definitely does not meet marriott standards. Our first room had a broken safe, AC didn't work, and when I picked up the phone to speak with the front desk, the phone didn't work either. So I had to go down to switch rooms. Zero apologies from the guy at the front desk. Our second room wasn't much better but at least things worked. It is near a large shopping plaza with restaurants and a Walmart. There is a McDonalds pretty close for quick breakfast. I'm glad we only stayed here one night. I went to get ice (we were on the 4th floor) and the machine was just gone. Nothing there but the shelving! I went down a floor and there was a sign that one did not work either and you had to go to floor 6 for ice. There was old blood on the bedding. Hairs in the shower that obviously was not cleaned. This place was gross and I would never stay here again.…
Had to quarantined there. My room was covered/paidfor by my employer. Had to put my cc for incidental deposit. Someone made a mistake and charged the whole stay to my cc instead. I immediately informed them about this and Elaine the manager said she would reverse this charge. Now it has been 2 weeks and the charge is still on my cc. I went and talked to this woman at least 4 times before I left the hotel. I have called for three days now and nobody is doing anything about it. As per her statement accounting should be handling this. Unbelievable!!!
The BEST part of our stay was our server LISA at the hotel's restaurant! She was GREAT!!!! The food was also fresh & delicious! The hotel was just OK! The beds were very comfortable, but the hotel is definitely outdated, and the room did not smell fresh, although it was cleaned. The hallway rugs had a moldy scent when we got out of the elevator. The front desk personal was OK, not friendly, or welcoming. We would not stay here again. There was a McDonald about a block away and only Asian restaurants around the hotel, however, there was a Mall just across the street behind the hotel.
My wife and I only stayed 1 night at your hotel. We didn’t spend much time there but the highlight for us was Lisa at breakfast. She is a super star. She is soo good and service was 5 star. We would stay again at your hotel just to see Lisa. You can tell that she loves to spend time with the guests.
