Detailed Reviews
Stayed here to make my morning easier, having to catch a 6:00am flight out of YVR. The hotel was lovely, the service was very good, and they have a 24hr airport shuttle. I also noted the environmentally friendly practices with the shampoo, conditioner, soap dispensers in the showers: fewer mini plastic bottles hitting the landfill and I can get as much conditioner in my hand as I feel I need. The bed was also fantastic, memory foam topper or mattress, and the sheets were crisp and warm.
The only issue was that there was this constant thrumming/humming sound coming from some kind of system in the building. I turned off the thermostat in my room and it quieted a bit, but was still super noticeable. I was on the top floor so I'm not sure if that may have made it better or worse.
If you're visiting the Vancouver area and the Richmond area is your main area of interest, there are dozens of restaurants and shopping centers steps away from this hotel.

Have stayed here several times. The hotels has a shuttle service to and from airport, on the half hour service.
Great location if you like walking around for food, there are literally hundreds of restaurants within a ten minute walk of the hotel.
Good room, well priced and the staff are very helpful.

Check-in was friendly and fast. Room was average, could have been cleaner, as if the housekeepers were in a hurry. Noise from hallway and neighbors; the room fan helped. Main reason to stay here is the airport shuttle to the airport for early morning flights. The hotel is walkable from the skytrain (Lansdowne stop) if you are not traveling with a car. The area has LOTS of Asian restaurants and two Asian malls. Also a Canadian Superstore nearby.

I was booked at this hotel as part of the mandatory quarantine requirement for international travellers returning to Canada for 3 nights but only had to stay one night as I received my COVID 19 test results within 24 hours. This was a blessing for a number of reasons. The meal selection was very limited even though the quarantine package was not cheap. The meals were dropped by the rooms on the floor in a knotted garbage bag. I only received one bottle of water for the entire 18 hours that I was in the hotel. The choice of soft drinks was also limited. I found a meal garbage bag from a previous occupant in the room on the shelf behind the ice bucket. Staff were observed in the hotel not wearing the required face covering. There was no complimentary alcohol based hand sanitizer provided in the room nor face masks. The shuttle driver when he picked me up at the Vancouver airport did not assist with loading my bags and all so I booked an UBER to return to the airport who graciously assisted with loading the luggage into his SUV. I felt like I only received the regular lip service when I spoke to the manger regarding my concerns. I ended up reporting the hotel to the Vancouver Coastal environment public health official.

I came there on the worst week as it was snowing heavily. Regardless, free shuttle from the airport was there and I checked in late morning but rooms were already available so no need to wait for 3pm (after a 15h flight, that’s quite nice). Breakfast buffet is nice and diverse enough - if you can the rate where the breakfast is for a dollar, it’s all good. Staff there is nice and kudos to Denie for her warm welcome and smily attitude.
Ended up having to stay one day in the room to work and it was very practical anyway. Internet speed is sufficient for a full day of online meetings. Room bedding is comfy and warm enough on a winter snowy subzero time.
Overall, if you stay in Richmond, go there as it is very practical to get to and price-wise, much better than the other Marriott/Sheraton around.
Considering my poor experience recently in the Tampa Sheraton, I can only give kudos to this hotel for everything.

This is an airport hotel, or at least it sells itself as such. Most people will likely stay for a night or two, in-between flights. The hard product (ie the room) is perfectly serviceable, given the price point. We had a king size bed and slept really well.
Where everything falls apart is at the service level. It is plain misleading for the hotel to say that it has an airport shuttle bus when said shuttle goes only once per hour. In our case, we arrived (exhausted) after midnight and were told that we needed to wait a good hour for the shuttle to pass by (at the reception I overheard other callers be told the same story). Because the shuttle runs so infrequently, in the mornings many timeslots are fully booked. What this practically means is an additional cost of about 40$ for taxi trips to/from the airport (a 10 min ride).
I had been upgraded to a room that had a jacuzzi style bathtub. I was eager to have a relaxing bath, but then I noticed dead insects in the bathtub and became suspicious. I touched the walls of the tub and quickly realised that it hadn't been cleaned for a long time (after one or more people used it). Pretty disgusting.
Let the buyer beware. While the room and bed is perfectly good, nothing much else works as it should be in an airport hotel.

Have stayed at this airport several times since it's the cheapest option near YVR Airport or in the Richmond area.
Most recent stay was after I made Platinum Elite status. Elite recognition at check-in, and was offered an upgrade to the bigger corner room with a big bathtub.
Standard Four Points room. Hotel restaurant was closed due to covid but the hotel is near a ton of (very good) restaurants.
On my second night of the stay I went down to the pantry to try to purchase a bottle of water. Front desk looked up my room number and told me I can get 2 bottles of water per day, so that's a plus! (Not every hotel does that)
Airport is about 10mins drive away. Airport shuttle operates once every hour if I remembered correctly, so an increased of frequency to 30mins or on-demand would have been better.

We had an excellent stay. I would especially like to thank the front desk staff and Customer Service manager who arranged a late check out for us to accommodate my wife who became quite ill with a bad cold while I concluded my business in the lower mainland prior to our evening flight. Other great particulars I will comment on are the general friendliness and helpfulness of all hotel staff that we encountered, the convenience of the airport shuttle, and the location with its proximity to the many Richmond restaurants. The room was well appointed, clean and quite comfortable. Overall an excellent stay.

My family and I booked this hotel at the last minute due to a flight cancellation. We paid $600+ for only two nights. On the first night, we noticed that the pillow cases smelled of sweat. Not wanting to complain and thinking we'd have them changed the next day for housekeeping, we decided to just spray perfume and use a towel over them. To our shocking surprise, the next day we returned late at night only to discover our rooms were not cleaned and our beds were undone. When we asked for an explanation, we were told that we did not request housekeeping. Since when do hotels started to ask their clients to request housekeeping? Clearly, we missed the memo. We went downstairs to ask for clean towels and went upstairs to do our beds with the same smelly pillow cases. When we checked the room, we did not come across a housekeeping sign that is usually placed on the door knob.
When we told them about our disappointment at check- out, they only waived the parking fee, which was less than 5% of our $600+ receipt for only two nights.
If you want smelly pillow cases, humid, dense, and poor air quality in the rooms, and remembering to ask for housekeeping, then this is the hotel to go.

We’ve stayed at this hotel
Before - maybe about 5 years ago and pleasantly noticed it is still nicely kept and up to date. Modern tasteful decor. We were here 2 nights visiting family that live close by. As a family of 4 we were able to get a roll away for a 2 bedroom room and it fit in perfectly. A little squishy but for a 2 night stay not a problem especially when you are only in the hotel room to sleep. Bathrooms are spacious clean and modern as well. McDonald’s is right next door great for breakfast and of course Landsdowne mall is across the street. In general lots of restaurants are nearby. Noticed their convenient shuttle schedule to airport. There is a place downstairs that serves breakfast as well. We did not try it although we were offered complimentary continental breakfast for 2 as we are titanium elite members however my kids love the McDonald’s breakfast so they gave us points in Lieu of taking the breakfast. Value wise this hotel is perfect for short stays or overnight to airport etc. pretty much has everything you need and great location. Even easy access to downtown via skytrain. Our room had microwave, coffee maker and kettle. Service was good. Rollaway brought in soon after check in.
