This is a bed and breakfast for veterans. This was my first time at a bnb. It's a short walk away from Lonsdale Quay and the value is competitive. If you like slice of life homestays, this fits you and you should give this a shot, especially because of the value. Otherwise, if you do not have an appreciation of homestays and slice of life scenes from the suburbs of Vancouver, look for alternatives. Food is solid and is customizable upon request. It is highly recommended you go solo here as this only allows up to two people. I went solo on this and got a decent bed and space to put my belongings.

As with all bnbs, there are house rules that need to be followed. Once you follow them, the experience is good for the host and the guest. The most important thing about this place is that is has a strong wifi connection, which allows you to get in touch with your loves ones, as well as do computer work. Good value, Good Wifi, but the only drawback is that this is not wheelchair-friendly so if you have a wheelchair disability this may not be the place for you due to the steps.

This is not a guesthouse. You are renting a room in someone's home, sharing the family bathroom. If that's what you like, then it's a good place to stay. But I felt like I was staying with an aunt, put up in the smallest spare bedroom, expected to join in family activities like watching the Olympics on TV. But I like my own space when I stay in a hotel. And if I stay with an aunt, I like it to be a real aunt, who doesn't charge me top dollar for the smallest room.

We spent two nights here with our children visiting Vancouver and North Vancouver, this charming bed and breakfast was clean and quiet and was close driving distance to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park all the other places we wanted to visit in Vancouver. Upon arriving in the evening we were greeted with tea and snacks, not necessary but it was a bit of extra touch making us feel at home. Breakfast was more than adequate. We Shared the bathrooms and they were very accommodating. We had everything we needed and more.

The guests very quickly blended into the routine of the house. They were comfortable and relaxed, and were able to plan their daily trips away to their own time table. It was indeed a pleasure to host this delightful couple.
