Detailed Reviews
We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient location – a short walk to visit family and a quick bus ride to the Lonsdale Quay, the Sea Bus and downtown Vancouver. Stefka and Ivan were very friendly and we discovered we’d lived very near each other in Ontario at various times.
Breakfast was European (bread, cheese, meat, fruit and hard-boiled eggs) but Stefka always offered to make more standard Canadian fare if we wanted. She’s a wonderful baker providing muffins, plum cake and amazing strudel.
Our suite was very comfortable with a bedroom, and separate living area with microwave, table/chairs, mini-fridge, coffee maker, TV, and another bed and futon for additional sleeping. Very cozy and quiet.

Our hostess was very kind and she made sure to look after all our needs. We were served a great breakfast each morning (plenty for our family of 4). The room (fireplace suite) was very clean with all the towels we needed and plenty room for our luggage. The room has nice exterior seating area and break was served on the upper level with a great view of downtown Vancouver.
Situated in North Van, it’s a short drive to downtown and/or Stanley park, close to the Horseshoe ferry terminal and easy highway access to go to Whistler.
Thank you Stefka and Ivan

The B&B is located in the north of Vancouver in a quiet, upscale residential area. We had the “suite” - a kitchenette, living room, small bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub.
Breakfast is brought to the room - since Corona this must apparently be so.
Fruit salad, a bit of ham and cheese as well as bread and muffins. The eggs were hard-boiled. Parking in front of the house possible, Wifi good.
We had little contact with the owners. Bus 230 can take you to the Seabus , which runs every 15 minutes to Vancouver downtown.

A friendly welcome from Stefka who showed us the suite.
A neat b&b that is cared for by a woman with a heart for her b&b. The breakfast is fantastic and most of it is home-made, from scones, breakfast muffins to delicious fried eggs with bacon. A quiet and clean environment. In the suite you will find a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with everything you need or else you can ask her. We definitely recommend this stay.

Visited a couple year ago just before covid had a wonderful stay with Ivan and stefka. they told me all about their family in eastern Europe I think they are turkish? anyway wonderful couple they keep a very clean house and serve delicious home cooked turkish meals. It was a wonderful wrap up to my trip across Canada except that I had a hard time resting, several nights I heard strange hog? noises late at night, i don't know how else to say it English. The beds were soft and clean aside from the pork? It was only recently after looking through my travail log that I never wrote a review for this be and be and thought I owed them a nice review. for anyone looking to travel to vancouver for a beautiful location and place that reminds them of home mountain be and be is perfect aside from the "john pork".

We stayed 4 nights for our honeymoon and had an absolutely wonderful stay. We are vegetarians and Stefka was extremely accommodating making delicious vegetarian breakfasts. She and Ivan were very inviting and friendly. We had the 2 bedroom suite which was very comfortable and opened directly into the garden. We loved it there!

We stayed 2 nights while attending a conference in West Vancouver. Stefka and Ivan are extremely accommodating and go out of their way to ensure you have a conformable stay. Their breakfasts are delicious and we enjoyed the pleasant chat with the other guests. We would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet, spacious and friendly place to stay in North Vancouver.

We booked the 'Suite' for 6 nights in September. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Stefka and Ivan. The B & B is in a quiet, tree-lined neighbourhood, and is close to shopping and restaurants. Our suite was great. Airy and clean, with a kitchen complete with all appliances, plus a lounge area and bathroom. The bedroom was nicely decorated, and we had an excellent sleep every night. There is also plenty of storage. Breakfast was upstairs in the dining room that looked out over Vancouver. Stefka is a great cook, and she provided an assortment of fresh fruit, salmon, cheese, ham, freshly baked scones or strudel, as well as cooking eggs and bacon in whatever way we like it. Both Stefka and Ivan are wonderful hosts, and we would definitely book the suite again. Ivan enjoys his garden is this is very apparent by the number of beautiful flowers and quaint garden ornaments. We had a sitting area outside our suite and it was surrounded with dozens of flowering plants in pots and garden beds. The area itself is very close to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Cliff Skywalk, and its also close to Grouse Mountain where you can ride the chairlifts and visit the Grissly Bears. The ferry terminal is also not far away, which travels to Vancouver Island. Its an easy drive into the city too, or to any of the main highways out of town. There's also a regular bus service if you don't have a car - and there's plenty of parking at the B & B if you do. Thank you Stefka and Ivan for a wonderful week, and wonderful food.
