Boa opção para ficar próximo ao Stanley Park, mas do outro lado da ponte. Próximo a Capilano Bridge. Se você estiver de carro e pretende gastar pouco, sem se preocupar com luxo, este é um local bastante recomendável.

I spent my first two months in Vancouver staying in Lions Gate suites. I moved from overseas and Lions Gate Suites made the transition very easy. The appartment had such a homely atmosphere fantastic facilities and a stunning view! Jim was a fantastic host who was extremely welcoming and helpful. I cannot recommend lions gate suites enough!

We stayed at the Lion’s Gate Suites for 60 days during a move from the UK to Vancouver whilst searching for an apartment. Jim was a fantastic host and helped us feel right at home whilst staying here. The apartment was very spacious, well equipped and with beautiful views over the downtown skyline. Jim went out of his way to make us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed including helpful tips on how to settle into Vancouver life. We cannot thank him enough for his generosity during our stay and would happily stay again!

We stayed here for a few days whilst visiting our son, it seemed a great place to stay out of the city, with easy access to the seabus only a few minutes away.

The apartment is fairly spacious, moderately equipped, just enough to manage with in the kitchen etc.

I must admit I was disappointed with having no view to either mountain or sea, just grey walls of nearby buildings and an access ally, which was very noisy at night, two pubs very close, we thought it very claustrophobic.

The beds we didn't find comfortable and the bedding is nylon, so it's something we don't come across in Britain, there is also a lot of road noise, the main road is only a 100 ft away, trucks and boy racers.

Car parking is limited, first come first served, and quite small spaces, there are plenty of local shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance, and many attractions are within 15-30 minutes drive, the city is about 30 minutes depending on traffic.

We wouldn't stay here again, we have stayed in better over the years on visiting our son, but everyone's views are subjective and based on personal preference.

Hi Bruce, I believe you have us mistaken for someone else. It is clear you stayed somewhere near lower Lonsdale - and not at our location - which is situated in a quiet non commercial area on 11 acre forested grounds. Those 6 "traveler" photos you have uploaded to the page are of someone else property, and not Lions Gate Suites. If you'd please have a look at our website: http://lionsgatesuites.com/ you'll see that we have either ocean or mountain views from all our suites. We'd be happy to book your next stay. In the meantime, we'd be pleased to have you remove your current review and photos - as it it is clearly not a review of our suites - which have been in business since 2005. Thanks Bruce, JH

I stayed in the Lord Stanley suite while on business in North Van in Jan 2018. Jim (the host) was friendly and knowledgeable - and very accommodating with my schedule for checking in and out. The suite was the perfect size for one guest or a couple with a comfortable bed and furniture. Although the building is not new, the suite appeared to be fairly recently updated and was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious by apartment standards, however, the appliances were older. The underground parking was a bit of a maze, but Jim provided good directions and the parking spot was convenient to the elevators. The location was less than 5-minutes drive to work, and close to shopping and services. I appreciated the balcony, park-like setting and proximity to residential neighbourhoods and trails for walking after work. There was 24-hour security at the single access to the grounds where the apartment buildings are located on 11 forested acres along the Capilano River. The views of the Capilano River, Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park and city at night were as beautiful as promised. There were recreational facilities on site - pool, gym, hot tub - but I did not use any of them. I hope to stay at Lions Gate Executive suites next time I'm in the area - although it's too bad that dogs are not allowed on the grounds or in the buildings. (We often travel with our dog). I would definitely recommend the Lord Stanley suite - it was good value for money, especially when compared to some of the "traditional" accommodations in that area of North Van. Thanks to Jim for excellent service and a beautiful suite.
